For years Woj has the most trusted source in breaking nba news. Who will take his place?

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

I don't know if the move is all about money. Woj has probably made between $40-50MM in his career. With thoughtful spending and investing, he could be set for life financially. I believe he signed a 5-year, $35MM deal with ESPN, so even if the University is paying him a fraction of that, his overall quality of life could improve within his new role.
His NBA connections will be a huge recruiting pitch for the university going forward.

Idk. Not saying they had to match espn money but it is always about money imo. If not why work then.
I doubt 17 year old elite high schoolers get excited over Woj. Does he have any more connections than any other high profile coach ? Doubt it.

Sometimes, it’s about doing something you can enjoy while you slow down a bit.

Re: Woj: Woj retiring?!?
Woj has been a part of my life well into his yahoo stint, so this is a big change. I loved his passion at yahoo, so desperate to scoop the multitude or deep-pocketed ESPN reporters. Last week I was reading about his eventual transition to ESPN, and I’m glad he got paid, but he never looked comfortable in front of a camera, sitting at a desk when Stephen A Smith or Kendrick Perkins were going off on their craziness. I doubt we would have ever been friends in real life, but he gave me a lot over all these years, so I honestly hope that his new job makes him happy and is a better fit for his life.

Re: Woj: Woj retiring?!?
Good for him.
Guy should live his best life.
And for those speculating about what the St. Bonaventureis paying him, there's no way it comes close to what ESPN would have paid him had he stayed.
He's got plenty of money.

He could probably make a lot of money by selling his phone. It would be interesting to see who is his successor as the before anybody else guy.

From Wikipedia:
-30- has been traditionally used by journalists in North America to indicate the end of a story or article that is submitted for editing and typesetting

Does color matter?
interesting question, I asked Chatgpt to answer
Color can matter in a variety of contexts, depending on what you're referring to. Here are a few examples:
Design and Art: Color is crucial in design, art, and branding. It affects mood, perception, and even decision-making. For example, red can evoke excitement or urgency, while blue is often seen as calm and trustworthy.
Psychology: Color psychology studies how colors influence human behavior. Some people feel energized by bright colors like yellow or red, while others may find them overwhelming. Cool colors like blue and green are typically calming.
Fashion: Colors can impact how we present ourselves. Some people associate certain colors with power, professionalism, or elegance. Black is often seen as formal, while white may symbolize purity.
Games and Interface Design: In gaming, color can guide user attention, convey meaning (like red for danger), and improve accessibility for colorblind users through thoughtful design.
Culture: Different cultures attach different meanings to colors. For example, white is often associated with purity in Western cultures but can be linked to mourning in some Eastern cultures.
