Another crack at a Ayton for Ingram Trade
New Orleans gives Ingram
gets Ayton
Portland gives Ayton
gets Khris Middleton, Marcel Beachamp, AJ Green and the 2026 pick
MIL gives Khris Middleton, Marcel Beachamp, AJ Green and the 2026 pick
gets Ingram
I think Ingram to Milwaukee is a good fit for a third guy who can create a bit and adds length to the 2 guard spot. This is a sell low for a position of need move for the Pels, and Portland gets an asset for a player where they have plenty of bodies. Middleton could be repackaged to someone else during the year as well for extra draft capital.

Ayton isn't getting moved this easily.

Zero interest in KM. Age, injuries and contract make me skeptical he could be moved easily.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Agreed.
Nice attempt, but I don't see any one of these teams doing it.

Did I miss an extension or something? Bball-ref shows his contract is comparable to Ayton’s. If there was a 2026 pick to be had for that swap, I’d do it.

Yeah, other than it being illegal, this is an easy yes for Portland. Similar salary, then a pick and young player? And Middleton, while with injury concerns, plays a position every team needs versus Ayton, where many teams are set there. Can see him being easily flippable.
