Nash was such a perfect player for that team, I don't see Magic's superior rebounding and defense making enough of a difference to add titles assuming the same degree of "luck." The teams might improve a little bit, I don't see them improving a lot.

I think they could win in 2005. I think Magic pushes that series to 7 and it's a toss-up.
I could see an argument for 2006 as well considering Magic's bump in volume scoring that season.

They’re better in 2010. Nash had tailed off a bit by then.

Magic ran faster and drove to the basket better. He'd outsmart and out move most guards in the 2000s. Noone really that could've defended him effectively.
