He looked undersized and somewhat slow during SL, but did not lack physicality.

Randle and LeDee will obviously be in training camp with the club, but then will spend the season in Iowa.

Seeing that he won the best power forward and didn't get drafted makes me wonder how important any of the college awards are.

In terms of NBA potential, absolutely.

Need more proof? Wendell Moore won the best SF award. It's not a lock that these guys will be busts, but it shouldn't be used as any sort of evidence.

I don't think our continuity has been discussed enough. We have 7 rotation players on the roster who have been together since the 2023 trade deadline. That's wild in today's NBA and salary cap landscape. Same coaching staff and front office too.

I think that could help us get out to a hot start, as other teams are figuring out rotations and player combinations.

Thought exercise: I think two of the biggest worries about Dillingham entering the rotation are how inserting a rookie and thus playing faster will negatively affect our turnovers. However, we weren't exactly leading the league in turnover rate, but we were near the bottom of the league in offensive creation. I think we can handle a few turnovers if it means improving the offense.

Clearly not a whiner like some I know … maybe it would rub off

This plus culture, locker room unity, and a taste of everything last year (competition for the 1 seed, how good it feels to sweep a team, how good it feels to win 2 in a row against the former champs, how bad it feels to drop 3 in a row, how good it feels to win in 7 against the former champs. To taste the WCF, and then run out of health/gas and the bitterness of letting down.) This is a recipe for greatness. Plus bonus, Finch can walk again.
