While in Las Vegas for two weeks watching younger brother Cam play in summer league after being drafted by the crosstown LA Clippers, Christie spent time with Redick at the team’s summer league practices. The two spoke extensively about his role next season, including how the Lakers plan to use him as a cutter and a shooting weapon coming off pindowns. Redick directed drills and walked Christie through various actions in multiple workouts.

“I think both of us are really on the same schedule, if you will, in terms of how I want to be used and how he wants to use me within the offense, within the rotation,” Christie said. “… I’m going to be a good part of the offense and defense and the rotation just in general, so I’m looking forward to that.”

Leaving work now. I have opened all of the bids from last nights bidding window but was not able to respond this morning. I will hopefully respond when I get home to all involved teams. Maybe announce a signing or two if I can.

Have to be back at work tomorrow at 6:30AM and will be working another long, late night. I’ll see what I can get done.

Ok, everything should be updated. Sorry for any confusion today...like I've said before, nothing is official until I post it into the discussion thread.

We will be taking tomorrow off. I am working 6:30AM-7:30PM and will take tomorrow night to update my spreadsheet with the latest signings and bids. I am only working a few hours Sunday afternoon, so expect the next bidding window to open at midnight tomorrow and run through Sunday afternoon. I will announce when I am home tomorrow.
