Brewers/DBacks Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Sep 19, 2024 3:15 am

Thursday - 6:15 - Myers vs. Pflaadt - Fox
Friday - 7:10 - TBA vs. Gallen
Saturday - 6:10 - Civale vs. Kelly
Sunday - 1:10 - Rea vs. Montgomery
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Kind of expect a dud tonight as sure there was some celebrating last night and probably just the come down in general. I just don't see the Crew getting into the top 2 but assume at they'll at least play it out for this weekend and re-assess, unless they would rather see Arizona or NYM over Atlanta. Which in that case they maybe put out some lesser lineups this series.

Adames is 1-16 last 4 games, might be a good time to give him a night off. But he's close to playing all 162 I don't think he'll want to sit.

It is kind of a cool accomplishment so I get not sitting him. Maybe do the ole Cal Ripken trick of playing him an inning or two and then pulling him.

He's always been a big hacker but I've definitely noticed him swinging out of his shoes more over the last week.

Hes a K King, I think hes one of the top strikeout guys in the majors. Hes a solid SS but hes not gonna be worth what he will likely get paid this offseason.

How was Myers allowed to go back there for the 3rd time through the lineup when he was already over 80 pitches?

Monasterio is lucky to be a big leaguer.

We need a RF that isn't 5'8" and doesn't have a 85 wRC+.
