The main thing we lose with Bev leaving is that guys like him are kind of a human defibrillator who can give a spiriting team the jolt they need to settle back into a regular rhythm. Of course, if you use a defibrillator on a normally functioning heart...

No..

If you recall, Pat announced his departure to Tel Aviv earlier in the same day that we signed Trent jr. Pretty clear signal to me that he was option B. Also evidence that he was willing to play for the min if it was with us.

There us no way in hell that we valued Pat Bev more than Trent.

Giannis not thinking he's a 4 makes so much sense.

I think Wright was the Bev replacement, not Trent.

Had my first ever conversation with ChatGPT just now. Naturally turned to the Bucks. It agreed with me about the need for a defensive minded young big, as we have no backup center amd Brook is getting old.

ChatGPT recommended Jalen Duren from Detroit. Any thoughts on him? Do we even have anything to offer the Pistons that they would want?

If losing 20 lbs means he makes even a marginal attempt at staying in front of his man on defense then we have a real shot.

Due to work I'm about to be away from my family for 8 months outside of a few times being able to fly back home for a few days at a time.

I totally get it and how it can affect you, especially when your job is playing a game.

I can't imagine Dame lost 20 pounds (maybe he did ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but I can imagine he'll be in better shape after last year's tumultuous off season.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Daver is a respected insider so would be hard to believe Dame isn't 20 pounds lighter

Would love to hear Middleton’s recovered from his ankle surgeries and has been working out with abandon for a bounce back year.

Wouldn’t be a bad idea if he wants one last big extension (from the Bucks or anyone) too.

The price they'd want wouldn't be worth it.

I'd rather start transitioning Giannis to the 5, get a solid backup big for him and look for more capable shooting wings to put around him. I really doubt there's anyway we can properly replace Brook when the time comes. His strong drop D and decent shooting for a 5 won't be easily found elsewhere. If you're gonna stick with Giannis at the 4, you want a guy who can defend well and shoot an open three well. I can only think of:

- JJJ
- Zinger
- Wemby (the shooting will get there)
- Turner
- maayyyybbbee Isaiah Stewart.

Of those guys only Beef would really be gettable for us. And he'd be a very poor man's Brolo option.
