Bruce Brown Out At Least Three Weeks With Surgery On Right Knee

Bruce Brown underwent an arthroscopic surgical procedure on his right knee. The procedure was performed Thursday by Dr. Riley Williams in New York. Brown will be re-evaluated in three weeks, and his condition will then be updated as appropriate.

Brown averaged 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 26.0 minutes in 34 games (11 starts) with the Toronto Raptors last season. He was acquired from Indiana on Jan. 17.

Did he hurt himself? Is there a valid reason why he didn't get this procedure ANY TIME in the last 5 months?
