What’s the likelihood of that happening? Is Kawhi injured?

Highly unlikely. In fact, I dare say Kawhi is going to be "forced" to play because of the new arena situation. Their squad is good enough to be in that jumbled up 6-10 slot.

This post just made it sink in that Philly has really added Paul George. That’s terrible.

Is what it is, but it's just going to turn into another Big 3 failure. I like PG13, but there's no coincidence he played that many games last season because of his contract situation. Hard to believe the 76ers have had 3 or 4 Big 3 teams that resulted in nothing. Hell, I'm more curious about how his personality fits in with Joel.

Olynik is an awful rim protector. I dont think its the kind of player we are looking for.

Yeah his defense is poor now. He struggled on our Olympic team this summer. Poeltl from the Raptors would be great but probably to expensive to get from Masai
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

I really can't see him making the team. Definitely not getting into the rotation. Problem with Okeke can be summed up with what he was quoted as saying. "He needs to get himself 'right'". What was he doing up until now? He was drafted 5 years ago by a bottom feeding team that at the time had arguably the lowest talent in the NBA.

The injury history and playoff failures are also incredible. They are going to at or over the cap for the next 4 years with that Big 3. Embiid will have a 69.1mil player option five years from now. That looks like it will be the worst contact in history when he picks up his option street clothes that year.

I wouldn’t want them on my payroll, but I also wouldn’t want to face them.

I think Philly being able to bring back and even add to their depth is bigger than PG13. Will be interesting.

Philly is really good when fully healthy. That's why I'd love that #1 seed so Boston and Philly have to play each other in the second round and we'd only have to face one of them if we advance.

The prices for centers must have been really high if they knew this was a possibility.

Unfortunate, but wise. Originally Ian said he's likely for the season opener. It's so frustrating as a fan to always expect Robinson to be out. I'm sure he feels the same way, but still ... Knicks went from the best Center rotation in the league to this.

I wonder if the Knicks will go small ball straight off the bat with Randle starting at Center. If I-Shat didn't bolt town, I think Robinson would've been traded. All well. Speedy recovery, but man this blows.

The sham curse is quite nasty folks!!!! :D

But yeah i think the price must've been high. Begley said a couple weeks ago we even checked in with atlana for capela. If we cant get him we probably cant get anyone without giving up big pieces

They also couldn’t package Robinson in any bigger trades that people would’ve imagined possible.

You paying OG 40 Mill a year. You just sent 5 picks for the Nova quartet completion in Bridges. Randle is on the last year of his contract and plays only 1 position that OG can also play.

Your starting C is out until Dec/Jan. All our backup options are smaller.

Would I trade for Ayton who I would have at somewhat reasonable dollars for 4 years and lock in my team vs potentially 1 year of Randle?

Its an interesting conundrum but I probably would.

Ayton, Achiwa
OG, Achiwa, Hart
Bridges,Hart
DDV, Hart, Payne
Brunson, Payne, Schamet

When Mtich returns:
Ayton, Robinson
OG, Achiwa, Hart
Bridges,Hart
DDV, Hart, Payne
Brunson, Payne, Schamet

Ayton may not have quite lived up to his #1 overall status but in this offense and defensive system with good coaching (we brought in one of the best big men coaches in the business) will very likely be a strong C for us with considerable more offesnive ability than either IHart or Mitch.
