The jerseys are something I’d expect for a YMCA Little Dribblers League. The combo of those jerseys on that court for the IST is extra yucky.
The court looks slick (not slang). JB will mind it, it looks like he’s going to be slipping and sliding again. Basketball on ice.

Dumb random stat: Rounded off, the Celtics had three players who had identical 61.7% TS% in the playoffs (min. 10 mpg) -- White, Porzingis, Holiday. They had three other players with 60%+ TS% -- Kornet, Horford, Hauser.

Brown and Tatum had identical 28.0% usage rate in the postseason. All my yelling about JB's usage rate in the past was a waste.

I'm ready to make my prediction for the following season.

I think they fight through the lull of being a defending champion and still manage to hit 60 wins.

Assuming KP is healthy, I think they repeat as champion.

The only question I am not entirely sure on is if any games reach game 6 in the playoffs.

For that, I default to Celtics in 5.

Let's **** do it.

The Celtics starting five last season averaged 91.3 ppg, per HoopStats.com. Dating back to 1997-98, that's the 2nd highest output of a starting unit (PHX 2005 averaged 91.8 ppg).

If they don't get hurt they take it. Denver too thin, Okc too small and young, MIN too janky, Milwaukee too old and injured, Philly, kind of speaks for itself.

Up to the minute big man tally: Porzingis is out. Horford is old. Kornet and Tillman both had medical procedures.

It is reasonable to guess that Queta is going to play quite a few minutes.

Minutes total last year:

Horford: 1740, 65 G
Porzingis: 1690, 57 G
Kornet: 983, 63 G
Queta: 333, 23 G
Tillman: 274, 20 G

I think with KP being injured, Horford another year under his belt, I'd imagine a majority of their lost minutes (I'd guess close to 600-1000 minutes less between them), most of those do go to Tillman/Queta. Luke prob goes up a bit but I think he's prob best close to where he is at.

So with Tillman being the likely double big guy most frequently, I'd guess Tillman and Queta can each get close to where Luke Kornet was last year.

Dmytro choosing #41 for his jersey number, paying homage to The Kelly Olynyk.

The Celtics top 6 players are all entering their 8th season or more. Not sure that's happened in franchise history.
