The chances of a healthy Philly team are about as likely as Mitch being healthy for the entire season. People need to dial it back with this Philly talk.

They might just as well be healthy. Kawhi Leonard is a two-time champion. Plus, you could say the same about not only Mitch but OG. And we’re still hyped. So I’m still wary.

We are much deeper and Mitch plus OG don't make up 2/3 of our cap. They also aren't the guts of the team. Philly has the two best players and highest paid players with serious injury histories. It's not the same. We were better than Philly last year without them or Randle.

We were barely better than them without PG and Embiid on one leg. I’m not afraid and they are posers, but don’t underrate them.

Fully healthy and having some chemistry, they should be a good team. I just don't think they have the depth to survive any stretches where one of them is out. I don't underestimate them. People putting them above us are smoking some good shyt though. Fully healthy we are the better team.

We are the better team in reality, but both teams at a 100%, on paper, I’m not so sure anymore. They are deep too. Most importantly though, it doesn’t even matter as we can clearly hang with the best and should have the most swagger come playoff time. I’d be more worried about a healthy Philly squad than Boston or Milwaukee though.

And I’m not gonna lie, I like Randle’s mean streak more than KAT‘s or Embiid‘s, so that’ll be nice to watch. I’ll just need to look away when he starts dribbling the ball.

It was from a BR article of an extremely hypothetical idea. Hell, the section on Randle starts with, "Technically, the best move for Julius Randle would probably just be going from the New York Knicks' starting five to the bench." Nothing factual as someone might assume.

These pages will reach Donovan Mitchell trade proportions and there still won't be a legit center on the team.

Patience. The new surplus of baby oil in NYC gives us additional leverage with Ainge.

From The Athletic's new NY Knicks reporter, James L. Edwards III,

Whom could Knicks target to fill in for Mitchell Robinson? Exploring 3 trade candidates

He starts early on saying "backup point guard Miles McBride and his $4.7 million salary as the biggest and most realistic tradable contract" but steadies himself and goes on to discuss Isaiah Stewart, Walker Kessler, and Nick Richards. I didn't see anything new, but he covered many of the points we've all heard. He didn't mention Ainge, though.

If you want to read the new guy's first Knicks article (he came from Detroit), this is the URL: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5788858/2024/09/24/knicks-mitchell-robinson-replacement-trade-candidates/

Probably just gossip.

But if it were Randle, it could possibly be because:

*Brunson took over NY and the super friends took over the team

*No contract extension

*Talks of wanting him to come off the bench

*Not interested in playing center

*Still upset over video of merchandise store without his jersey

*Probably wants to get a max contract and be "the man" again.

Either way, winning is a panacea. If we win it all this year, Randle stays, and the media can find a different team to scrutinize.

I couldn't tell who he was referring to, either. The only name he mentioned was Chris Haynes -- and the way he worded it made it seem as if Chris Haynes wanted out, which made no sense.
