I'd forgotten how useful it is to start out with peak Jokic for just 14.8 FGAs.

Man, missing my 2nd round pick really messed my team up.

I wanted to go with James Harden and Shaq pairing. thought that would have been pretty sweet. uphill climb since then.

I thought Kidd was a solid recovery pick.

First time in a couple of drafts that I haven’t lamented the direction I chose.

Taking Robinson in round 2 was hard with the perimeter talent I was leaving on the table but it was the right call.

Having a great point guard is a neccessity with Shaq, imo.

Without it might as well just give up. lol.

One thing about Kidd as well is he is cheap as heck for me.

Yeah, Shaq never could have won championships without Derek Fisher and Jason Williams.

To me Shaq is the textbook example of a bigman who doesn’t need a guy like that.

Kidd was still a fine pick, and who if have taken in that situation. His Suns peak is super underrated.

If I chose to use his Suns season.

I also could use his Dallas seasons, much more of a corner shooter, still defended, still set up Shaq.

Suns Nash was awesome, at 15ppg, 7rpg, 10apg and a couple of steals
but Dallas at 9ppg, 6rpg, 9apg, 2spg and 40% 3pt shooting on volume is pretty huge.,

Dallas seasons aren’t in 2000s.

2008-09 is eligible.

In a pool this restricted though, I would stick with prime Kidd and focus on adding shooting elsewhere.

It doesn't seem that restricted to me. All the choices are pretty familiar names and everyone has a nice one-two. No reaches or names we don't see a lot.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Am I right in saying Billups is the second Timberwolf to be drafted thus far?

by my count that is correct

KG was really performing miracles taking that franchise to regular 50-win seasons. :noway:

The clock will stop while he is up.

I’ve been asked to wait for him in that case.
