Knicks and Randle are under no obligation to sign an extension immediately. And all this hoopla started from Lowe, who absolutely has no insider source, but obvious ulterior motives.

I hear you, yet, we don't know how much money Randle is looking for, and we don't know how much the Knicks are willing to pay.
He's not a franchise superstar who you HAVE to keep, so there's no certainty. He got injured and the Knicks didn't miss a beat.
Until we hear they've reached a deal, his future here is uncertain. That's the cold reality of the situation.
