on KnicksfanTV Mike Bibby told a story about a teammate who robbed him 3 times, got a key made and went into his room.... just shameless one stack was around 5k and he did confirm it was another player on the roster

first guess was JR :wink:

I'm going to guess it was Renaldo Balkman. He went on to play in the Philippines league, which I believe is known for corruption. He also had an outburst there and was banned from the league lol.

It just has to be him.

It can't be JR Smith. Aside from his on-court antics, he was a still a respected talent and a NBAer for his entire career.

Everybody was either very well paid. Or they were rookies/early in their careers. It would be an early career-suicide to steal $5,000 lol.

I think it was Henry Walker. I remember him saying on another podcast that it was someone that didn't make much money and nobody really talked to him. Bibby said he was one of the few guys that hung out with him and thats what made it even worse. Walker also doesn't play in the league after that year so... might have been repercussions for stealing.

Earl (JR) has done a lot of dumb stuff, but a thief he's not.
