ESPN has laid off Zach Lowe as the network continues its series of cuts ahead of the end of their fiscal year in September. Lowe's salary, which was more than $1 million per year, was the biggest factor in ESPN's decision.
Lowe had been with ESPN for 12 years with him first joining Grantland.
ESPN also recently lost Adrian Wojnarowski from their NBA coverage with his sudden retirement.
