The only way we've ever enticed good free agents to join us is by drastically overpaying them.

I'm sure it took quite the effort to remove all the leech tanks and various medieval torture devices that were being used to treat the players from the premises.

This is how they were treating Mark's back injury.

I went into this season thinking Miles at 26 years old still had some upside in his career.

I no longer think that.

The 3 year deal takes him to age 29. So I think he still commands neutral value in a trade.

But maybe the team feels like he can still tap into that upside eventually as he develops chemistry with the core young players. Hard to know because Brandon has only played 1.5 games. Mark has played 0. Josh Green was out.

Tre Mann being a better ballhandler definitely takes Miles out of the action. Miles likes dominating the ball. He also likes running. It looks so far like the offense runs half court sets, yet the turnovers are still high.

The turnover rate might indicate the newness of the schemes on offense. The team is scoring well, but don't always look organized.

Seems Miles just needed some home cooking to get going.

Players can sometimes get weird after getting paid. He'll be fine.

the only players who can play PF to any stretch of the imagination left on the team for the next few weeks:

Grant Williams, Taj, Diabate, Salaun

Melo and Miller are going to have to play like prime Splash Brothers for us to have a chance in any game we play.

This team is cursed. Miles never gets hurt. Can talk about Miles the player but the dude is out there every night. Now this. Unbelievable.

Honestly not sure if you're being sarcastic but I think Salaun can easily give us 15 plus solid minutes off hustle alone.

I am excited to see the rookie play. It seems like this is destined to be a tank year with all the injuries and our incentive to miss the playoffs. So playing the kid is good. If he benefits from the experience and it helps his development into a baller next year then absolutely Great Job Jeff.

8 games into the season and we're already reserved to calling it another lost year and prepping for the next. Is that a new record?

Yeah, remember when none of us could fathom how Tiddy could crack the rotation this year? Those were the days.
