If anything, ARod and Lore were the ones talking about cutting payroll so much to take the Wolves under the luxury threshold!

I think so.

Longterm, I think both can slot in as a 6th man or as a starter with Ant. One doesn't render the other as useless.

Even when we know that ARod and Lore have no control over the team currently the Taylor defenders will still proudly post something this embarassing.

I've seen a few people mention why NOP wouldn't go after KAT if that was the price

Ingram (expiring)+ Herb Jones would be pretty equivalent

Addition by subtraction. Amen Connelly.

Now we can win. Don't let the door hit you on your way out Kat. Go bring your baggage to NY.

HOPE EVERYONE THINKS WE GOT THE SHORT END OF THE STICK... we didn't... have to get rid of cancers to win the whole damn thing.

Punch in the gut.
My emotional reaction is definitely a negative one. I'll have to think about this trade for a couple days before I feel I have a good opinion.

And the slow-witted ARod and Lore defenders can ignore fozzy’s joke, but a comparable joke about ARod and Lore triggers them.

Mix feelings about this trade. I love Di Vincenzo and he is a great plus. But for Randle im not convinced… NBA is a business.. I tell before that they would likely trade KAT sooner or later.. but I was convinced they will make a last try this year … I was wrong… seems that TC non convinced KAT can be a play off leader . They save money for the future… let’s see.

I know. Mine is based on what ARod and Lore actually said. That reality won’t make sense to you.

Randle $28,939,680
DiVencenzo $11,445,000

Towns $49,205,800

Payroll Savings: $8,821,120

Edit, let’s see if Randle gives up any of his trade kicker. Anyone have final numbers?

TC can't find a better deal? Ingram or Zion would had been a better fit. Why not wait until next summer before trading Towns? Is this how Taylor take the money and run? Just doesn't make any sense. It makes my head hurts trying to think how they will play offense. I supposed defense should be better.

What does it matter what ARod and Lore reportedly said, when Glen Taylor axed the deal? How does that joke make sense?

The copium to project how other people are triggered by your "joke" with how you have felt about a Randle deal and defended Taylor only for him to do this? Now that is actually comedy.

I was not expecting this. Just saw a post about Kat rejoining the team and Ant hugging him.

Idk how I feel about it yet but I will say that Randle is a pit bull and plays tough. Not as efficient as Towns but can apply pressure with his physicality.

The addition of Donte makes me think Naw is gone though.

I like this trade. Beyond the $ and draft pick...IF Julius understands and accepts his role(s). KAT was always going to get traded. Seems we got a fair deal. Will Randle be effective passing in our offensive scheme?

We all like Naz but it’s sad to see KAT get traded. He’s talented and a good person.

KAT has been so loyal to this organization and never bad mouthed Minnesota ever.

He’s the last of the original Big 3 of KAT, Wigs and Lavine.

Now all gone like Love, Rubio and all the other fan favorites of Wolves history.

KAT’s contract is why the traded him.

$49M this year
$53M next year
$57M in 26-27
$61M (player option) in 27-28

The wolves saved 7 million off their books with this deal.

Randle is only here for 2 seasons then he expires. He’s Zbo 2.0. Lefty and Bulldog but 6’8-6’9. Not as big or long or athletic as KAT but stronger mentally.

Wolves made this move to make Naz Reid the future with Ant

Everyone is stuck on Julius, when Donte was the key to the trade. Julius is merely a means to an end.
