Tank World Order is back for 2024/2025 season!!

We going to capture the Flagg! This season will rival Tampa season as the greatest tank job ever!

Wave the white Flagg, not capture.

If we actually do Tank this year which is most likely scenario come mid way through the season....We have a good chance to get Flagg but all we need to hope for is at least a top 5 pick...Id be ok with any of Flagg/Bailey/Edgecomb/Harper/Traore

Should be a good season to do all the jersey retirements and statues we can... anything to keep the attention away from whats happening on the court lol

100% still committed to the tank. Tank or contender. Not happy with anything in between.

I think reality's going to make the decision for us.

Gonna be living in this thread. Think it'll be our season, tWo.

Flagg/Ace/Traore/Edgecombe/Harper/Hugo we'll have options in that top 5

This team will be so bad after trying to win the first 2 months. I’m confident we’ll turn to the tank eventually. I’m not confident we’ll sell “assets” to help facilitate even worse record

Even our first ever jersey retirement won't be able to save this season.

lets line up those excuses for team mediocrity this season~

i'll start: Even though we are 15 games below .500, our point differential indicates we aren't as bad as the worst teams in the league. If we make the play-ins anything can happen.

That was my thinking a month ago. But now with Ed Rogers in control & Masai likely leaving in 2026, with only 2 seasons left, does this increase the likelihood that Masai tries to improve his Raptors record by selling assets to try for play-in in 2025 / 2026?

There is precedent: we were in 10th place at the trade deadline in 2023 and sold draft capital for Poeltl to try and make the play-in. I'm less sure than a month ago of an early tank.

We may fall ass backwards into the playin this year just because of how bad the bottom half of the east is.

I prefer Ace over Flagg tbh

Coming from Duke scrimages so far he hasn't even been the best on his team. They say, he's been great in transition. Not gonna cut it in the NBA.

The truth is, he's known for his defence and it's just a lot different guarding nba guys compared to hs guys. He's not super tall so idk if those blocks translate to the nba.

Those injuries? JKW out for 10 games with his shoulder injury.

TwO is going to be really disappointed when they find out how bad the rest of East is going to be this season.

Nets will be bad. Wizards will likely continue to sell assets. The other bottom end teams have upside to improve. I wouldn't just assume Raps will be better than them.

This draft class is special. There are so many guys with star potential. It’s like a much better version of the Scottie, Sengun, Cade, Mobley draft class. I feel like we’re a bottom 10-12 team. So hopefully we trade Poeltl for assets and go all in on the tank.

Just let Scottie, Dick, IQ and the rest go at it and develop their games.
