It really was. What’s wild is how agitated some got on here even though it was so plain to see.
I've been saying all summer the KNICKS weren't done dealing and that Randle was the next shoe to drop. I always knew it was coming.
Also, something to consider: the injuries to Randle and Mitch could be more severe than we know. Consider that.
But why did you think that Minnesota would do the deal?

Can you remind me what Raps fans thought of the bargnani trade?

Re: Breaking: KAT to the Knicks
KAT is AD-lite with how much he can do on offense (though a significantly worst defender)
Despite his defense he can pretty much fit on any lineup in the league, something I don't think Jules can do with his bully ball play style. This was the right move, I didn't think the team could be called true contenders until the Randle question could be solved (whether it be him fitting in and actually showing something in the playoffs or getting shipped out)
Randle and Gobert are a god awful fit, sucks for minny fans.

I watched him shoot minny out of the wcf
Well he got them there in the first place. And did you watch Edwards too?
Idk about him being the one that got them there. When he was never able to get them anywhere until Ant showed up.

The ultimate respect to Randle and RJ. They had great moments and drove us all crazy at times. That being said, they helped lay the foundation and turn the tide of the franchise.
Leon and company have pushed the chips in with this one. I don’t like trading Donte but this team is extremely dangerous on paper. Health will be my biggest worry

that is interesting. Brunson and Hart have the podcast...and Mikal has been on it a couple times. DD didn't even show up to the block party event. And they always talked about that DD never really went out with them.
They had to talk to Brunson before this so the team most be ok with this and it won't hurt the chemistry.
Brunson and Hart are the Heart of the team anyway. Donte was gritty, but we don't lose that vibe without him. And Mikal does seem tight with his boys so all is well.

I didn't know Minny would become a trade partner. I just knew that Randle was a goner.
However, I did suspect Minny once we brought Rosas here. The writing was sort of on the wall.

Minny has Naz.
Plus I'm pretty sure their cap was fcky, so they'll prolly let Randle walk.

On offense KAT isn't anyone's "lite".

he's faired pretty darn good in that matchup throughout his career.
Fam, KAT has been pretty ass against Boston.
I'm speaking stylistically...usually drop coverage bigs like KP and Embiid don't want to be hanging out at the 3 pt line. That is usually how you combat that type of coverage.

Re: Breaking: KAT to the Knicks
The Knicks are making a massive gamble. It might work out, but we can’t ignore the fact that Boston has been KATs biggest weakness in the past 2 seasons. Those numbers are ugly.

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

That's my silver lining with this is that we can move for someone better. Cool.
He's a better fit with Brunson and he's way more valued throughout the league. For example if you want Giannis down the road if MIL goes down the tank with that old team. MIL wants KAT way more than Randle.
Sure he is a better fit offensively but he isn't going to help on D. He is terrible.
Your Buzz impersonation is working flawlessly
