Underrated part about this is kolek and Deuce finna get minutes. Need some real bench guys still if you wanna be elite.

I don't know about kolek being nba ready. His d was terrible in SL

But I'm not worried about moving donte. He wasn't getting many mins here anyways. Mikal is a massive upgrade and Deuce is ready for an increased role. Plus his contract is great.

You know Randle had a 5 for 22 game against Boston last year while 6'4/6'5 Grimes was tasked with guarding their starting 4 Tatum instead of Randle? I'm just saying :-?

Love so much of KAT's game - elite level scoring efficiency and one of the best shooting bigs in the history of the league - but I am not looking forward to his general corniness :lol:

. From his fake tough guy snarling to the voice stuff, the dude is a straight up cornball that happens to be really, really good at basketball.

Minnesota beat guys talking about him being outstanding in the community, so that's a nice balm, I guess.

FO has been massive on not committing long term to wrong type of players

Brunson + KAT plus best 3D wings in the league should be a top 5 offense

And Thibs + Mikal + OG should keep us in top 10 defense

I would peg Deuce as the 2 and keep Mikal - OG at 3 - 4. Hart can spell for OG. No weak shooting in lineup and another ball handler. I dont like Mikal at 2 that much without another creator in lineup

Expecting a huge shift mentally in emotional KAT playing at home behind strong high character leaders, hope he puts in some memorable playoff performances against Embiid, Joker especially

My fandom is back without Randle-ball lol

This feels so big and unexpected. I don't know what to think. I really liked how they looked with Randle & Brunson & OGA last year so I was looking forward to that this year. KAT is obviously crazy gifted and can shoot 3s way better than Randle. . . . Donte was great but we can replace him between minutes with Bridges and Hart/McBride will get minutes at SG too.

This is nuts. It could be amazing.

I don't know if all the details are out yet. A 3rd team and another player might need to be involved to manage the aprons. I gather we're sending Mini Detroit's protected pick but that wasn't going to convey anytime soon and could turn into a 2nd rounder in 2027.

This is probably a good thing, but I'm kind of in shock.

It was right in front of us all along.. just thought it would be Mitch instead of DDV with another pick going to Minny.
But end of day, DDV is not stopping you from making this deal.
Towns is a much better fit for this team going forward than Randle and honestly there’s not a single objective viewpoint that could change that.
Love the FO. The last 10 months of moves have been historic. We up to +700 to win the championship (third behind Boston and OKC - who would’ve ever thought
