Anyone know where I can find what picks we have let now for 2025-29 seasons?

I don’t think they announced what picks are going to charlotte as part of this deal, but my assumption is it will be either 3-5 2nd rd picks or the Washington picks. Cupboard is starting to get bare.

One last one, Deuce and Washington’s pick for Trey Murphy, let Kolek get the backup PG minutes, Murphy starts at 2G and Josh is the 6th man.

I mean if you are gonna put Murphy at 2 you can put Mikal as well, I want more ball handling and off the dribble creation

I agree with this thought. Bridges is more suited to be a 3 similar to Jaylen Brown.

I would roll with this lineup

Brunson/Duce/Bridges/Anunoby/Towns
Kolek/Hart/Precious

Mitch replaces Precious when healthy. Payne battles Kolek for backup PG minutes.

Shamet and Morris are likely going to compete for the 9th rotation spot - should get about 15 MPG in the regular season and fall out of the rotation in the playoffs. Dad jet will compete for these minutes as well but it doesn’t sound like he’s ready yet.

I just looked through the picks websites. Seems like NY has 8 trade eligible 2nd rd picks plus the was 1st which is essentially 2 2nds.

It’s easy to pick up 2nds on draft night.

In Mike Dantonis wildest dreams. We better play KAT at PF with Precious at C and then you know how the rest will go. Cmon. You're going from a PF combination that goes from 18 rebounds per game to one that averages 13 and can't protect the rim. People are falling in live with 3pointers and here's the thing, at least with Precious you could still at least get a couple more than you would with Mitch.

But if you are determined to put him at C, at least give Morris 6th man minutes. Idk about start but the idea of OG at PF is only possible with some double digit rebounding powerhouse and rim protector. It's really not feasible

I can see Thibs using Duce/Precious the way Spo would use Hasslem/Battier depending on matchups.

I think I like Hart off the bench because the minutes flow better, but I feel confident that on most nights we’re running Hart with Brunson, Towns, Bridges and Anunoby to close games. Potentially with Mitch against certain teams.

But I guess this rotation makes sense once Mitch is back

The math works so well within that KAT trade, considering some of the other contracts Charlotte has. I wish I could see them being interested.

What's behind the Morris waiver? This depth thing is getting me more worried than it needs to be suddenly.

I never liked the trade proposals where Mitch and Randle were both leaving. This is good now, we still have Mitch to guard Embiid in a series and Deuce to guard Maxey and the like. And when Mitch returns there's the flexibility to go big with him and KAT and go 5 out with KAT at C. The Mikal trade and now KAT is like the Celtics getting Porzingas and Jrue last summer.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Mitch's stock is so low that I honestly can't even consider him on this team right now. :o

Yes but the Celtics traded Time Lord out when they brought KP in.

I like Mitch and I hope they keep him because he is a defensive star, but Mitch is a injury prone, starting center, on a declining contract. He’s not a back up center and low-key in about a season he is going to be demanding a trade because he is not a back up center and needs to show that to maximize his next contract.

Also the 1st apron means he can only be traded for equal or less salary. So if they want to trade Mitch to say fill in the blanks on the bench. You trade Mitch now with maybe another contract alongside him to try to get somebody (or pieces) that better fit in the $14-17 mil salary range, probably on a longer contract.

Writing on the wall for Mitch to be traded out and this works out perfectly.

Question tho, could a Mitch/Mcbride trade for Kessler work as well?

Why would Charlotte want to make that trade? You have a MRob who's out until Dec/Jan and has a long history of injuries. They have a MRob light in N.Richards and he's making $5 mil. I guess Deuce would be intriguing for them but not sure if he's enough to take on a $14.3 million walking injury in MRob.

I have never paid attention to Richards' game but many Hornets' fans did not seem to be too high on him after last season with some even hoping to sign Precious in free agency to push Richards down to 3rd string. This a quote from a guy that considers himself a pro-Rchards guy on their board

"Athletic, strong, good offensive rebounder, good FT shooter. Low bball IQ. Out of position on D a lot. Seems to lose focus. Occasionally will flash something different but offensive game limited to putbacks, lobs. Solid backup big but not a guy you can rely on to play winning basketball. We were forced to start him last year and meh."

What do so many Knicks' fans like about him? I see his name often here.

Rather have Troy Murphy and Herb Jones for Mitch and Deuce.
