Donte is probably gonna be happy about this. He might be the 3rd leading scorer on the Timberwolves. He wasn't going to be anywhere near that on this Knicks squad.

Donte won't get more touches than Edwards and Randle obviously, but he should get more shots up than the rest of their squad.

New Orleans need to fix their STARTING center before they can even pursue high expectations of making a deep playoff run. Unless Missi (rookie) or Daniel fcking Theis becomes iHart... they will probably need to give up one of their glut of wing players.

A lot people who don’t like it are likely the same people who crapped on Randle for years while he made 3 all star teams, the same people who insisted his contract is bad and nobody wants him when a team who was just in the conference finals traded a star for him, and the same people who wanted Leon rose to tank as he leapfrogged the entire nba almost overnight. And probably wanted to fire our top notch coach along the way. Maybe just sit this one out and let Leon keep working his magic.

This is similar to when KG(who took the Timberwolves to the conference finals) finally got out of that dead end Minnesota cesspool to join pierce and Allen. They’ve held
my man back for years and now he’s unleashed. It’s over for the league.
