We have a solid sample size that shows that KAT really isn't a Center. Precious is okay, I am not sold on Sims. It might be prudent to keep Mitch.

The reason people are mad isn't because we traded Randle. It's because we traded FOR KAT. 6th highest paid player in the league.

kat doesnt make 60m, yet.

but I will entertain your premise.

kat at 60m is a better deal than randle at 50m.

Another actual idiot I'm not responding to. Wanna make it 3 half brained snot nosed drooling halfwits talking to me?

The point of trading Mitch is quite simple

We are moving a guy that plays 50% of games for a guy that’ll play 85% of games

Perspective.

I would think this front office has earned the benefit of the doubt by now. And like I said every player not named Fournier/Kemba has had an uptick in performance under our coaching staff.

This isn't true from everything I've seen, and I've been looking. In fact, I'd say it's the opposite - 90% are upset about it.

The vast majority response is sadness/upsetedness.

He was their GUY and they loved him as a player and person.

i'll give it a chance but he's the one guy i really really didn't want. it just seems like one of those trades that the knicks do that'll just screw it all up somehow.

But it's not like we gave up the future with this move. What value did a one year Randle have around the league just have to ask yourself that? And its not like a situation where you just want Randle to expire either with the new cap structure either since we can replace the contract.

It has its risk but the Randle situation was also risky. They are pretty similar player IMO but KAT is more efficient and can play some more 5 so the fit is better imo.

I know its a shock when you get traded but with this dudes history of being soft I'm hoping his emotional state is ready to embrace NY. Last thing we need is a disgruntled star creating drama and locker room tension. This unit has been really gelling last couple of seasons and they don't need that noise right now.

if you made a list of guys not built for new york he'd be close to or at the top. just pray i guess.

At this point why should he be? He hasn't even put on a Knicks Jersey yet.

These clowns are only doing the Celtics dirty work, trying to destroy Knicks team morale before they even have a chance to play a single game.

Not Knicks "fans".

Randle was worth nothing. Bc for whatever reasons the league has always hated him

Like I said earlier... look at my roster.

He did pair well with Vanderbilt irl which bodes well for a Precious pairing but I want other defensive bigs next to him at all times.

I also might move him...

It took me half a season before I realized that he can't play the 5

Never did I believe (before today) that the board, supposedly full of higher iq fans, would be the same ones that chant MVP! For Julius Randle at the garden

Would be very knicks if this trade imploded and randle ends up staying. Disgruntled and toxic as hell.
