Imagine if Giannis was healthy in the playoffs the last 2 years and Khris wasn't, those 11 playoff games would become awfully important for the anti-Khris crowd. It's not like it takes much brain power to figure this out, he can play like prime Kobe in the playoffs but still get hate because Giannis wasn't healthy, gotta deflect blame.

Yeah not twisting anything. Giannis almost had a serious Achilles injury last season because he was doing too much in part because his 3rd banana was being put in cotton wool and having his injuries managed throughout the season. And I'm totally fine with managing Midds because it's the smart thing to do but you can't brag about him being good for 5 or 6 playoff games when he was clearly breaking down again by the end of it.

I'm not bragging blazza, it's just what happened. What makes Giannis great is that he goes 100% at all times, this should be the most obvious thing ever to Bucks fans. His playstyle is conducive to getting injured. And yes, you are twisting things greatly because you don't want to acknowledge that the onus is ultimately on Giannis and the rest of the roster does not matter for his own health.
Clearly breaking down, he was going 1 v 5 against a playoff team. Giannis gets winded after a 4 minute stint, Khris sweats gallons after 30 seconds. Stop man lol. Khris averaged 26/10/5 in that series on great TS%, just stop

Khris didn't hire Adrian Griffin & then trade his POA defensive captain.
That's the largest onus on Giannis having to play that way last year. Nor was he in charge of allowing Giannis to play with clearly serious medical concerns.
Maybe the Bucks medical & coaching staff need to hold GA to the same standard as other players. Idk, maybe...

Yeah I have brought up how weird it is that Giannis gets winded at strange times but I don't know what that has to do with anything????
Middleton had a very good series overall but it was clear to anyone he couldn't go much longer in part because of his body. His last game was literally his worst performance. And it can't be lost that he needed both ankles cleaned up over the offseason either lmao. But 11 games!!! Giannis is more to blame...

You don't always have to resort to sarcasm when your back is up against the wall. You're just grasping at straws and really not making much sense right now. Giannis has gotten winded quickly for as long as I've been watching, same as you. Let's not act dumb

I genuinely have zero clue what you’re on about now so I am officially out on this back and forth. Sorry to anyone else who catches up to this mess later. Bring on the new season.

You're the one who posted that witty gif to start the convo, can't get mad and act like I am not making sense when you don't want to continue the conversation. Yep lets get the season started

I'm not going to try and re-ignite a fire here, but there's quite a few leaps of connection here.
Giannis calf strain is not the same as 'almost had a serious Achilles injury'.
Him doing too much is definitely a thing. Is this because of Khris not being available? Partly. There's also a load of other potential factors:
-He's a little older
-He chooses to play for the national team wherever possible
-He gives huge amounts in the regular season.
-Maybe he gets less sleep now because of his young kids.
-He has some other chronic injuries that he may overload through his calf to compensate for.
There's probably a heap of other factors too. I definitely think having Giannis right for playoffs should be a huge goal for our medical team this year, potentially at the expense of other things, like a few wins. It's a good discussion for us to have.

I would just like to say he was on an injury report with some kind of Achilles issue weeks before the calf injury. He pushed through because he had to and we lost games anyway. A ton of people here were frustrated by it.
Edit. This isn't injury report but he missed a game because of this

Khris Middleton giving his jersey to Simone Biles is pretty frigging cool.

I'd forgotten that, thanks for the correction. That said Achilles soreness could still be the calf or a tendinopathy, which is pretty common in jumping sports.
It's still a leap to call it almost a serious injury. These guys play sore every game, and many injury predisposing factors.
Definitely on board with needing Giannis 100% available for the playoffs.

The Middleton never being healthy stuff is incredibly frustrating at this point. I don't know how you even argue against it.
