Biggest issue last year was prolonged scoring droughts. Lineups with Randle, Ant, DDV, and Naz will score on anyone. The only 5th player I wouldn’t add to that lineup is Gobert.

I'd be real curious to see a bench lineup of DDV-NAW-Randle-Reid-whoever(Ingles? TSJ? Minott? Maybe McDaniels).

Basically run high 4-5 PnRs with Randle and Reid, have everyone spaced off that. Defensively they could play more of a blitzing style to take advantage of their increased footspeed (and mitigate the reduced length Randle and Reid have).

Probably not something to run for 10 minutes a game but I could see that blitzing teams fairly consistently.

One thing that really surprises me is that not one person has mentioned that trading KAT might piss Ant off. If it does and leads to his early departure it was a HORRIBLE trade.

I am sorry guys but really what makes you think Kat could kill anyone? Maturity or not if you think that guy has a killer instinct you are a very back judge of character. Jimmy Butler straight punked him in a practice and again on the court many times and it took ANT to come along to finally shut Jimmy up. The whole league knows Kat is soft and not a someone to be scared of.

I am not saying you have to a old spoken knuckle head like Draymon Green. Tim Duncan was the quietest player in the league but when it came down to he wasn't someone to mess with. If you watch the stories about Tim teams knew not to poke that bear. Towns is a bear you poke, push and step on his new shoes cause you knew he wasn't going to do anything and would cower when it comes to winning big games. I am sorry that I am glad he is finally gone but I was so sick of watching a guy who should be the most dominate player on the court play like an undersize SG.

Two things: What make you think with Kat being a player we need and count on have us winning a championship? When has KAT shown to be part of a winning team? (please don't say last year) With the way the team was constructed last we should of won if KAT could dominate PJ F'in Washington.

Second point. I could see Kat coming back and lighting it up for 70pts but from my experience that means we win. Look at KAT's 62 point game last year. I could also see KAT picking up two quick fouls and sitting for most of the first half.

One: Why not say last year? It's progression and[b] last year's team[/b] was different than any he was on previously. The Wolves might have won the Dallas series if Ant had dominated Luka F'in Doncic, so maybe it's Ant's fault.

Two: sure, but we are hanging our identity hat on being a more defensive team, so, theoretically, he shouldn't get us for 70.

It was clearly not KAT's team anymore and ANT took over. KAT needs someone else to finally make it further than it has in KAT's career. If you want to compare a match up of ANT and maybe the best player on the planet in Luke Doncic to KAT's matching up against an NBA nobody in PJ Washington. Then in this match up ANT still performed better in the series. Again if you truly think KAT is a Great Playoff player you just don't watch the games or are in denial.

You must be miserable as a fan, because, based on your assessment, none of your teams have won anything. If memory serves me correctly, only 2 teams make the WCF and the others are losers, so the Wolves won more than those "losers". Winning more than losing is winning.

I wonder if you were one of those who labeled Jordan as an empty stats guy, since his teams didn't win anything the first six years of his career.

Also, I have NEVER said that KAT was a great player. If you are going to compare players one on one (Kat vs Washington), then all of your comparisons should be that way (Ant vs Doncic, Gobert vs Lively, etc). It is a team game and you win or lose as a team.

Klay probably isn't the right comp for DiVincenzo.

How about this comp: He is younger, better, healthier and on a more team-friendly deal as Alex Caruso.

He is a younger KCP with better 3pt shot

I think his game mostly resembles a better defending and cheaper Tyler Hero.

If he lives up to that comp I'd be very happy.

As long as this trade took/has take to become officially, it was not something that could’ve been at the trade deadline or between draft and free agency. You weren’t going to get much more for another team to take on a super max deal of a suddenly injury prone player who has led the league in offensive foul rate the last 4 seasons. This was a sell high move that sacrificed 22ppg and frontcourt slaving to bring in 40ppg, backcourt depth and spacing and an All Star that can finish in the paint.

LOL I will tell you right now if I was 7'0 and the self titled best shooting big man of all time. I would smoke KAT in a one on one game and be one of the most dominate big man of all time. KAT is a non shot blocking Brooke Lopez.
