Knicks are working on including Duane Washington in the deal to Charlotte. The catch is his European buyout. Draft compensation to Charlotte may be coming from Minny, not NY.

I swear I thought NOP and Cavs were a perfect trading partner between Garland and Ingram. Shocked they didn't really change the formula there.
The rumor was they wanted Allen and Garland for two Wings Spida said no on trading Allen.
We was only a week ago talking about how hard it was to find a back up center for Mitch. Good Centers are not cheap anymore. The splash brother era of every team playing small might be over.
Interesting. I did not hear that. That backcourt just doesn't work. I thought Ingram would be perfect for that team. Ah well, not my problem.

At the moment you have to get past Denver and Boston. So you have to have people to deal with Jokic and KP. You can't get away with 6'9" Precious or whatever. That just doesn't work for either (agreed, different propositions). You need at least someone in the Mitch-zone. People so underestimate Mitch it's unreal.

I don't "know" that ..![]()
What I do know is they have not offered him a contract extension yet, when they extended Brunson and OG with lightning quickness.
Why?
Don't mind me. Still smoking that Randle pack.

trey murphy/herb jones rumors are just hilarious. I think the pels have some semblance of a brain in their skulls. don't see anything happening there

Are you talking about trading with the knicks or their hopes of making it to the WCF without a defensive center?

Denver ain't that team anymore. No depth and no defense. Boston and OKC are our only peers.

I think Jokic can find a way. But ok, OKC .. Who guards Chet?

Trade done. Knicks send Charlotte 2 2nds. Minny sends 1. Knicks draft assets are dwindling.
But we did get draft rights to Nnanji.

Zion aint grabbing more than 6 rebounds per game... he's demanding someone else to grab those rebounds.

I’m excited about this team but this draft picks situation isn’t great. The 2nd rd picks are fine - 7 tradable over 7 years, plus the Was pick is likely 2 2nds and each year we pick up another tradable 2nd.
But we essentially have no first to trade until the 2026 draft.
I guess in theory if we need to pivot we can turn Bridges or Anunoby into picks.

We can always get draft picks back. Bridges, OG, Kat, Brunson, Hart….. All of them are worth multiple first rounders if we want them. The knicks are going to bevery choosy when they draft because they probably don't want another person Obi situation of them wasting a picks time.
So as a big time draft fan and someone who still thinks we should have tanked the first year Thibs got here to get one more really good bite at the draft apple. For the immediate future, draft picks don't matter, we’ve seen that this FO doesn't like drafting at all and if they do they rather find someone solid in the 20’s than a high level prospects in the lottery. 1st rounders are wasted on them anyway.
