I'm for Lowry for obvious reason but i will also campaign for Kawhi because he never wanted to be here but showed up and led the team to possibly the only championship we will see. it doesn't matter how long his tenure was. DeMar and everyone else promised the world to Toronto fans but nothing happened.

The Lakers...the freakin' LAKERS have retired 12 jerseys. The Spurs have retired 10, the Knicks 8, the Bulls have retired 5. And these are all including Bill Russell.
And you think we should retire 6+Russell = 7 jerseys?? That seems like the bar is extremely low.
Given that we're the only team along with the Clippers with no retired numbers, I can understand the desire to do it. But no, I don't think we have 6 jerseys worthy of retirement, nevemind the fact that 5 of the 6 would've played for the team in a short 10 year span.
