Well damn. I'm going to miss her calling games. She is one of the best.

... did she really follow JJ to the Lakers? Like, I mean, she was obviously crushing on JJ whenever they were calling games together, or was that all in my head?

nah, we were bamboozled, led astray, lied to

God bless him, he's following Jesus Christ and God. Picking up his cross daily and serving the one true God and not following the world and acting like the world, I commend him Amen.

I'd like to think that we could keep the discussion to basketball. One's personal reiligious beliefs are just that - and as beliefs, they're not debatable. They can be discussed, however, in other topics or in other forums.

See now, this is what I mean. If this doesn’t stop, I’ll have to quote lyrics from “The Book of Mormon!” Those could get half this board banned.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%206%3A5-15&version=NIV

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Personally I'm fond of Ezekiel 23:20

There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

Now why wasn't I taught that passage in school as a kid? I might have wanted to pay attention, or at the very least, laugh. Acutally, the first 6 words would have been the hottest thing I'd read before high school LOLOL

As a child first watching the Knicks, I thought Jesus Christ was actually the worst player on the team.

All my friends kept shouting, "Jesus, you missed that layup?" and "Christ, play some defense for once." Oh well, I may be a heathen, but I'm a Knicks fan since forever.
