I didn't notice any of the Exhibit-10 players, in the Celtics contingent.
Maybe they didn't go, like back in 2007?

The team posted a video from practice in Abu Dhabi with Ron Harper Jr in it so he's there. There was an interview clip i believe in Abu Dhabi with Walker so he's there as well. Also the team posted some pics from practice today and the 7 foot European dude is in there and he's on exhibit 10.

We're playing 2 preseason games over there. I would assume that everyone on our preseason roster (all 21 guys) will be there. Porzingis is there, even though he's obviously not playing.

We probably going to play our top 6 guys very little minutes, so you need to play the exhibit 10 guys a little bit so that you have enough bodies to play 2 48 minute games over there..

Thanks Hal.

Hal14 wrote:Celtics team twitter account posted a pic of the team just now on their trip. 20 players in the pic..no Enaruna..so I'm assuming that he didn't make the trip..

Thanks for the Updates. I was wondering.
Last time (2007) they said that it was too expensive to bring the Ex-10's. Guess that's changed, this time around.

Edit:
Here's the pic.

Which side do you pick in a scrimmage? Brown's or Tatum's? KP is out with injury. I can't decide.

There's a lot of interesting size comparisons in that photo. (NBA players are big.)

Al Horford is the fifth tallest person in the picture.

JD Davison is just the same height as Payton Pritchard. Also, JD looks like he dropped those couple of extra pounds he was carrying in summer league.

Xavier Tillman is Tatum tall, and only a hair above Jaylen Brown and Sam Hauser.

Dmytro Skapintsev has legit bigness and could be fun to watch for Portland afficiandos.

White, Holiday, and Springer are interchangeably sized.

Watson stubbornly continues to appear tweenerish.

Lonnie Walker is Luke Kornet level happy.

Neemias Queta had the good sense to wear sandals in the heat.

That building is spiffy.

Good thing socks with sandals has somehow come into style. Some of these types of places can have issues with bared legs.

Was just watching some film of him..seems pretty good but very slow.

Seems like a solid G league or European league big, but probably not a legit NBA guy.

Think he's just a body for training camp and a guy who will give us a solid center for our G league team.

21 guys on the preseason roster. 1 of them (Enaruna) apparently didn't make the trip) so that's 20. Our top 8 guys, we know what they can do - and 1 of them (KP) is injured.

Dmytro I think will just be a G league guy, same with Harper.

That leaves 10 guys. Those are the 10 guys I'm really looking forward to this preseason. Tillman, Kornet, Queta, Springer, Scheierman, Watson, Walker, JD, Peterson, Walsh. I want to see lots of mins for this group..I want to see how they look, who's better than who, how many mins each of them gets, who gets mins with the starters, (or at least plays alongside some of the top 8 guys), etc.

Agree, tho for me Green Kornet we pretty much know what to expect there (unless he starts hitting bombs from three again), and Walsh would be great to see a break out but he's still a future play.

Tillman I think will be solid so for me it's really that next up group of Springer, Queta, JD who have been around for awhile, can they start to show their stuff. Rest of the young guys excited to see them as well but they have plenty of time still to cook in the oven.
