Since it's been bumped recently, thought I'd see how my answers now compare to a year or so ago.....

1. Your favourite player of all-time. Probably either Reggie Miller or Steve Nash, though Tim Duncan has also really grown on me. HM's to LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Rudy Gobert.
2. Favourite player that retired before you started watching NBA. Bill Russell
3. Favourite player that retired, but you watched him play. Steve Nash (we'll make Reggie official answer for #1)
4. Favourite currently active player. Nikola Jokic (rising in the ranks! A year ago I'd have said Rudy)
5. Your favourite retired roleplayer (never was selected to all-nba team) Horace Grant??? Or maybe Muggsy Bogues.
6. Your favourite current roleplayer (never was selected to all-nba team). Joe Ingles (EDIT [after reading others]: or maybe Austin Reaves)

1. Tim Duncan, Rudy Gobert, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash; loved Michael Jordan as a kid (and had some of those videos like Come Fly With Me and such), have marvelled at LeBron James' career more recently. Not a lot of change on this answer. I also liked Kevin [fallen from grace] Johnson back in the day; like Stephen Curry and Kyle Lowry a lot, too, in recent years. Nikola Jokic is fastly rising the ranks of my favs, too.
2. Bill Russell and Bob Cousy.
3. All the above mentioned guys that are now retired (Duncan, Miller, Nash, Jordan).
4. Rudy Gobert, probably. Nikola Jokic up there, Lebron and Curry up there.
5. Yeah, Horace Grant. I've developed a lot of grudging respect for Bill Laimbeer, too. Muggsy was insane to watch.
6. Joe Ingles certainly was one of my favs. Austin Reaves is certainly still up there. Alex Caruso, too. Others that come to mind:
Derrick White and Naz Reid, if they can be called such. Jonas Valanciunas and Josh Hart, too.
7. I think I'm still going with the same five as above. HM's to Jordan, Jokic, and Curry.
