The fact that I've seen folks checking in to see what Divo and Randle are up to, or how much love folks still have for RJ and IQ...it's different. Other fan bases aren't like this one, I'll say that much. Dudes would come and go in NJ and people didn't care one iota about em once that jersey changed (and best believe, the players reciprocated that feeling).

As tough as it is to play in NYC, because excellence is the expectation no matter what sport, it also comes with some real love. Tough love at times, but love all the same.

Carry on, just making a random observation at 4:57pm on a sleepy Thursday.

We're just toxic tbh.

I did say for better or worse

And Thibs got more out of Randle than any other coach by far. It will be interesting to see if he can keep the same level of play he had in NYC.

This is interesting to me, because I actually see them as great fits. From a distance and soaking in hours of Youtube footage in the last week, Randle's personality reminds me somewhat of a more even-keeled Pat Beverley. And Ant and PatBev were very close in their time here.

And on the court, Randle couldn't say enough about Finch as a coach, and vice versa. So I am not too worried about that.

Yeah, I think Randle will mesh well with Ant. Randle got that dog personality that Ant has. I think it'll be a great pairing. Excited to see him ball out for you guys.

I know it's hard when your favorite guy is traded, but try to enjoy what we have now and join in on the fun. Look at Ju and Divo having a good time!

Yes, I am warming up to KAT a little. Still worried about his defense though.

It's good to see Randle in high spirits. He's reunited with his former coach and he's on a championship contender.

Minnesota's biggest problem was scoring last year

and now they got a worse F whose higher volume and lower efficiency.

I can absolutely see them struggling big time next year offensively, leading to friction.

T-Wolves' biggest problem was they didn't have another player that can create for others. Conley can't do that anymore, and that's not really KAT's game. Their offense will be different, but should be on par or slightly better depending on what tweaks they do. I don't think it's a forgone conclusion at all.

Who knows, Randle might be what they need and KAT might be what we need.

The other part to that is as soon as KAT puts on the Knicks jersey he immediately becomes overrated and untradable...

So many people basically wanted to dump on Randle. We needed to get value.

Not sure if they can't keep Randle if he plays well this year.

I see no reason why he would demand less than Siakam money in free agency.

Siakam earns "only" about 9 fewer millions a year than Towns. I don't think these 9 millions were make or break for keeping Towns. And that's before factoring in Divo's contract.

Don't be surprised if Minnesota moves Randle before the deadline.

Very.

He's from the area, is Dominican, Mom, Mecca, KAT already has a huge following here.

If this staff can unlock his defense, the East is going to have a problem and Thibs seems to feel that he can do that.

Yes, iHart already had nice skills, but was still a backup before coming here and wasn't he traded once? The staff did a real nice job developing his game more and I'm sure playing alongside Brunson also elevated his game.

In other words, one cannot compare the skill sets between iHart and KAT prior to coming to the Knicks. If a leap takes place in KAT the same as iHart, the possibilities are unimaginable.
