Fultz was a major part of conversation last year. Why wouldn’t he still come up to at least start the season.
Also, I really liked him and root he finds happiness in or outside of Basketball.

I'm with you on this. I liked Fultz and hoped he would live up to the potential as a #1 overall pick. I'll still root for him. Point is he's not even in the NBA now. That was last year. This is this year. ..

Fultz update…he’s still not an NBA player…but now he has the pink slip to prove it

Talent was not the problem .... Health is. People talk about him not being on a team.... But we still don't know what's going on in the background. If he decides to take time off and get himself right... Not rushing things..... Why not? He just turned 26.
Shoot ... People questions JI for years and now acting like he's a savior for the team. People get dealt rough hands... And if they have the mental fortitude to work hard and stand back up.... More power to them. The buying teams will know it's a gamble for them... One that may or may not pay off.

Talent ultimately was the problem.

How long are people going to use the health excuse with Fultz? Once he lost his offensive game (the thing that made him the number one pick), his days were numbered. That is a talent issue, not an injury issue.
I really doubt he returns to the league. He has gotten plenty of chances, more than most.

Yeah, didn't watch the game but his stat line looks good. 4 for 6 shooting, 2 for 4 from 3, 5 assist and a 12 plus/minus. Seems like a played a good game.
He is a volume shooter. Don't think he would have done well in Orlando with Paolo and Franz, but I think he will put up numbers in Utah.

That pretty much happened on first day of preseason in his rookie year. Magic just had to be 100% sure there is nothing there, 7 years later....
76rs are biggest Fultz victims, they lost pick that could have been Tatum to get him, but saved themselfs in trade with Magic getting pick that turned into Maxey.
On other hand Magic wasted half of decade on that bum who, just like Payton, Hezonja, soon to be Bamba, was out of nba in matter of one year after Magic.
Can we now finally shut down : bust rehab facility ?

Re: Official Offseason Thread 9.0: The Long Road to October
I would bet imaginary money Fultz is not going to be out of the league. He has a place as a backup somewhere, but it cannot be a team starved for offensive production from their 1 spot. He does enough stuff at a decent level to get 15 minutes somewhere but shouldn't be counted on for more, especially with his injuries/shot form.
He'll be one of the long line of vets that sign somewhere on a playoff team midseason when a team gets an injury or needs veteran help.

I'm not picking on the guy or saying physical issues weren't a very big part...I hang on longer than most and I like that they took a swing at a salvage project. But enough already with the endless clinging and rationalizing. He can't contribute beyond a ball handling level in a very small role and certainly not on a team that can't shoot.
Greg Oden for Hall of Fame...just injuries.

Was a ball hog that dribbled the air of the ball and got lost on defense a lot. Markkanen and Sexton looked annoyed on offense especially in the 1st quarter

Watching Bronny in nba... lol.. Just ...lol. Might as well assign one fat fan from arena every game, hardly anybody would notice difference.

This was expected. Just ridiculous nepotism and proves Lebron has been running the league for the last decade plus. The NBA is panicking to find the next cash cow “goat” from America.
