Probably as impressive of a 3 game start as could have dreamed of. Darnold seems like a really good thrower, putting passes on the money, but his weakness seems to be pocket awareness and holding the ball too long. We look great, but I’m not sure I want to get my expectations up just yet.

kirk had his bouts of not being great in the pocket and holding onto it too long. if darnold ends up being a more mobile version of cousins with some escape-ability i think that would be fine

got out of lambeau with a win, happy with that

first half was great, second half wasn't
i'm worried that jordan love might be pretty good (although he did turn it over a few times - i think a couple were deflections though).
darnold still has a mistake or two a game in him but it hasn't burned us yet

glad addison is back, he looks good.

That was about as unenjoyable as a win at Lambeau can be.

Still a big win though, two games up on the Packers.

kfan has kevin seifert on this afternoon and he's very high on the team. says, right now, they are probably the team to beat in the nfc and might be the best team in the league - after four weeks

a lot can happen by the end of the season but we're off to a really good start

held on again!
do we need to be concerned with this team's ability (or inability) to play with a lead?

bye week is good, get jones healthy and the offense sorted
defense is still really good
good teams get the job done and we have so far

sometimes the play calling seems a little inappropriate for the moment. maybe i'm imagining it but it seems like we're doing odd things at odd times

but hey we're 5-0!

I didn’t get to watch the game today, just followed the score on the internet. I sort of hate these games where we get up big, then just hang on. The important thing is we won though
.
We play Detroit after the bye, that one is going to be a big one for the division.

Not a good for Jones' health or possibly an indicator of how they feel about Chandler or maybe both.

was out of town but i caught the game. freaking lions, its really bothering me that they are good - just seems unnatural
goff can do whatever he wants against us, has been able to a few years now. really hard to stop a team if he can just complete every single pass

tough loss but i'm not too hung up on it because the lions are really good. bummer that it was at home though, maybe we can get them at their place.

could have ran it on 3rd and 4 with 2:41 left to kill some more clock even if we didn't get it (not that it would have mattered, the lions moved down the field so quickly anyway). i don't mind passing it but in those types of situations we always seem to go for a really low chance of success play. where are the nice easy 5 yard outs that are almost automatic?

i suppose hockenson would be ideal in those situations. do we know when he's coming back?

I actually think they should have been way more aggressive in that series, probably thrown it all three times. Either get points off the drive or conserve time so you can get it back. Teams can get into field goal range so fast that time really wasn't going to be a factor if the Lions got the ball back.

what happened during the bye week? the shine is really off the defense
and isn't not even like we're getting blown out, these are close games. guess it speaks to how well the offense is still going that the defense can't stop anyone and we're still in it

how badly is darrisaw hurt? that could be a major blow

I'm pretty disappointed. I'm feeling like this team is closer to what I originally thought than they are to the 5-2 start. The defense definitely didn't do much to slow down Stafford.

they need to figure something out on defense or we'll be in shootouts the rest of the way

got another win
defense was great
overcame mistakes and just general shenanigans (do the refs just not care about protecting darnold at all?)
hopefully the kicker is ok
the offense can really cook when it wants to
