I will probably watch this game since I can actually stream ESPN but I don't have cable anymore which means no more Bally Sports Detroit this season..... if the Pistons at any time are close to .500 after the first 10 games of the season I'll probably get cable again to start watching which feels pretty unlikely unless the new coach does a 180 or Cade/Duren jump into all-star caliber players.

Yeah. I'm sure I can find a stream. I'm just bummed out about Ausar.

I know Giannis really likes Darvin Ham as a assistant during the title run year, so I’m just trying to gauge how long until Doc gets fired, will he make it through the season, I don’t think he gets to next season if they don’t at least get to the conference finals

Will be good to see some of our young guys back on the floor again. And the usual preseason warning, that players are generally coasting at much less than 100% effort levels and you can't take away too much from these games (but people always get fired up and jump to conclusions anyway).

Today is the day people. There is a game currently im watching Boston vs Denver, and it reminds me just how far this team has to go. You get a sense when watching mid-tier teams, that the Pistons are not that far off, but when watching the current, and former champ, it seems like a different sport.

A ton of succes comes down to familiarity between players, and now that some of the guys have been together for a few years, im hoping a small modicum of that feel is apparent this season.

In any event, I hope everyone is as excited as I am, and for those who are not;

Don't worry, if things go sideways, we'll join you soon enough.

Better not be Ivey. That Cade Ivey backcourt is so cringe. At least Ausar isn’t part of it. I’m honestly sick of Ivey and Ausar as ball players. They really need to perform better so I can regain my excitement for them that I had on their draft night. I think out of the rookies Duren is the guy to start and improve defensively.

I'm hoping Ivey doesn't the starting job and Ausar's minutes.. and then when Ausar comes back, it will be unlikely to change course.

La Mar on a Camp deal...

Fair enough.
JB knows him better than any other NBA coach.
Supposed he's healthy he might play some minutes I guess.

Will be first Pistons pre-season game I've seen in a while...

With Tobias, Klintman, and AT out, hopefully Holland gets some major playing time.

what's the point of having great shooters who are terrible defensively??? Makes absolutely no sense to me. This team will give up a 140 pts a game

Dame killing them already! That's the trade off for shooters who can't DEFEND!!!!

Cade is not a point guard. He's too slow and a turnover machine. I'm not sure what JB can do to improve him
