We finally have 2 players that can do it...3 if you count Towns, 4 if you count Bridges on a good day.

He should start and play 24mpg MAX. I won't hold my breath but, I like the following.

Mitch/KAT/???
KAT/OG/Precious
OG/Hart
Mikal/Shamet
Brunson/Deuce/Kolek

That would have to feel more like last year's team but, still missing some grit. Randle is obviously a banger in comparison and DDV has that dawg in him. Shart was a perfect fit with them as well. Tough dude.

I have to agree with what Nice like Christ and another poster said. I don't like the feel of this team compared to last year's POTENTIAL team that fell apart. It's not the same vibes right now. Question is, what can Thibs do while Leon keeps looking to improve? How long will it take to gel?

Towns looked legit. He is gonna be a nightmare for every Eastern Conference team to try to guard. He should be the #1 option for us. I'm hoping Brunson becomes more of a passer to maximize Towns.

McBride looked extremely confident. Achiuwa looked solid. Shamet is driven to keep his NBA career alive.

I wonder how long it will take for Kolek to outplay Payne and take his spot. The only thing I feel that's holding back Kolek is that he's gotta hit the weight room. He still looks like a college player and not a pro athlete.

Mitch is the missing piece. Once he is healthy, I hope he can embrace a reserve role and compliment Towns.

Sims doesn't seem to do anything that changes a game. It's like he's just "there"

Not worried too much about OG, Bridges, and Hart. I feel like they just need some games to get into rhythm.

My reaction: IT'S FREAKING PRESEASON

I just needed to see the second unit. It looked real good, and has real potential with Deuce making the leap this season.

Once Thibs staggers minutes (Bridges playing with bench?) this should improve.

It's ok, you live where the gods dwell. So you don't need to worry about the earthly Knicks. BTW, you live in Trump tower?

I do.
And you can live there too. Any interest?

Knicks need Mitch or somebody like him can’t lie. We lost a little grit and don’t love OG at the 4 getting banged around. I could be wrong. Seen so much potential. Kat wit the quick passes. The bench letting it fly. I love Deuce being confident. Shamet look like a knock down shooter. He may have a chance to show out under Thibs who knows to love him some shooters. I want Kolek over Payne. I think Kolek has the best playmaking on the team and we will need it. Look at the clutch shots his first game. Very happy.

was watching mets/giants....so didn't watch live but recorded to watch later.

biggest takeways to me...

starters were rusty but I thought KAT was at least active defensively.

Duece is legit....will be a huge piece (with his contract he is nearly untouchable for our cap situation).

Shamet is making the roster...he looked good

Thibs and Cam Payne are going to drive me insane....Kolek is the better player but Thibs is going to go with Cam Payne for way too long IMO.

Did Thibs play Precious the entire 2nd half...insanity!

He's 6'2 but with the hair, 6'6.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?

I still think he fits better with the starters between Towns and OG at PF. Move Hart to the bench (with starter minutes) and a combo of Hart/Shamet/Deuce is a strong enough bench for things to work themselves out most games.

I like the KAT move a lot more if he stayed and we used Mitch instead of DDV. But this team is still going to be very good & even better when Mitch gets back & once everyone rounds into form
