Nice throw by Dak and nice catch by Tolbert. Cowboys should win this one now.

Man, nobody talks enough about how often the Steelers have choked over the years. RIght up there with Dallas and SF as biggest choke artists in recent memory. They're still the team that lost to Tim Tebow in the playoffs.

Great win for Dallas beating what looked to be one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Dallas needs to learn the "tush-push" or something similar though. We were at the goal and inches, and we fumbled and had issues. Every team should be at 99% to get a half-yard. Like that should be a given. And we aren't a given to get a damn foot. It should have never had to come down to a Dak TD throw.

Week 5 thread

Post#246 » by Mr B » Mon Oct 7, 2024 3:05 pm

Still trying to figure out what CeeDee was saying to Dak. Got one person saying “sub par throw, sub par”. Got someone else saying he said “jump ball 4, jump ball, I got you”. The second one sounds more logical but they have been having words with each other since last years playoff loss.

"Sub-par" doesn't seem like a term CeeDee would use TBH.

He would say something like "that was a sh*t throw dawg".

It isn't weird that these two would communicate with each other though, obviously. Even if he said "that throw was garbage" that seems fine for two people who are very close to each other. My son is the QB for his peewee team and I can tell him a throw sucks without it being offensive.

Rico Dowdle's fantasy value up.

He is a better RB than I realized, that was a great defense he was running on. He has real vision.

Basically what he said was, "Throw me the ball, I'm open".

"Literally sprained his nuts"

I mean, hopefully he is misusing the word "literally" there

Probably lose both those games because both teams have elite offenses and should put up 40+ on our defense.

But hopefully we can manage to split them.

I thought Dallas would for sure lose to the Steelers so, maybe it can happen.

Gabe Davis said that too

Then Trevor threw him the ball, he got flagged for OPI, but the penalty got declined because he fumbled it and the Colts recovered

Dude sucks. I'm looking forward to the one game he pops off for though.

The Cardinals are the kings of the division, as expected.

It's a good thing both SF & Seattle have a bye this week.

Looks like the Saints will be without their starting center and guard tonight. Something tells me Chris Jones will have a huge impact on tonight's game.

Their defense cost them that game, not the offense. That's what happened when they blamed Wilks for losing the SB and replaced him with a noob whose too afraid of making any adjustments, if he even knows how. Wilks at least will make adjustments but the players don't buy into it. The Vikings D has less talent yet makes critical adjustments to win games.
