Besides his athletic tools he is a bad basketball player. He can’t shoot, dribble, drive or finish. He has bad positioning, doesn’t play hard, and gets lost off ball. Also has horrific foot work for a guard.
No guarantee that he even starts on a good D2 basketball team. Right now it’s just a circus and I worry it’s gonna start weighing on him. Imo it’s gonna get bad bc he doesn’t belong in the NBA or in Gleague.

Hmm well I disagree here. I think there's an NBA player in there that could be close to Caruso defensively. He's far more impressive defensively than I expected.
But yes he's also terrible on offense. He can shoot really well in practice, better than most but simply hasn't been able to translate to game action. It's probably mental with him, I'm not sure how you translate an offense under this type of pressure. It's going to be interesting because I don't think he will develop confidence in G league either.
He's at least better offensively than Andre Roberson and MKG but those 2 couldnt' hang in the league with their offense and that was years ago. The clock is ticking on Bronny to produce some offensive ability during his rookie contract. Certainly not a player Lakers will expect anything from this season.
Andre Roberson was 10 times the defender Bronny is and better on offense (not saying he was good but Bronny isn’t an NBA level player). Roberson’s career ended due to an injury which destroyed his athletic ability.
Idk, I tried to root for Bronny but he’s not my type of player. For someone with so little skill, he plays very nonchalant. If you aren’t good, at least hustle out there. I heard JJ compare him to Lou Dort…could anyone ever see Bronny competing at that level? That’s something you either have or you don’t. You just don’t turn into an elite competitor.

At each Lakers practice he clocks the most miles, Christie is second and is known as a workhorse. I do think Bronny puts a lot of effort in, his struggles aren't effort, they are offense.
Doesn't matter if you root against him, that kind of makes it more interesting to see if he can prove the doubters wrong or is ultimately not an NBA player.
