Postgame thread: Knicks @ Hornets

Shamet is going to make people forget about Donte. He’s low key better than him. He will shine here.

Watching back parts of the game on replay now and I'm noticing he's smooth off the ball and understands where to get to on the floor.

Here is a plot twist for you.

Landry Shamet moves to the starting lineup. Josh Hart goes to the bench.

Knicks become unguardable with 5 guys who could all shoot in the high 30's or above 40 percent from three.

Shamet will get those wide open looks that Hart gets, won't hesitate to shoot them, and will knock them down.

Hart off the bench ensures that he, Anunoby, or Bridges are on the floor at all times.

Hopefully he stays healthy enough to make it a possibility. But, it might be best to manage his minutes carefully and keep his role 15-18 mpg.

Anyway, as we know, so many things happen in the course of the season. The culture the team is building should ensure that people stay ready for their opportunity

the rest are masking their very obvious biases under lazy usage of analytics and flawed historical perspective - seen this same act countless times from the same posters about different players

in the end it's just annoying to be ridiculed for rooting for your team and being branded as ignorant/casual for simply trying to have a positive outlook - many of us understand that things won't go as we want them to and to get spammed literally every day reminding us that we'll be "wrong" gets pretty tiring

anyway i usually try to stay out of the imaginary factions wars but i feel like a lot of folks are fed up w/ this ****

Randle's 'bully ball' was always overrated, he routinely got bodied by smaller players when he tried to overpower them thinking he had a mismatch and would often push it too far letting it getting into his head leading to frustration fouls.

By mid season we should see Mitch starting and both of those guys on the bench. Kolek is going to have to outplay Payne/Shamet for any playing time. Unless of course there's another trade involving those guys.

This is not a good spot to be in at all. He could help us a lot. Imagine needing stops and deploying Deuce/Mikal/Hart/OG/Mitch!! I would love to see that lineup.

A long time Wolves fan just said this on the GB. Basically describes a lot of what we saw from Dominican Bargnani last night.

I've been following the Wolves since inception. I was very happy to hear about the Towns trade. He has a ten cent head, as Knicks fans will soon find out. Really dumb fouls. Very soft defender and gets lost a lot. Tries to make highlight reel passes that don't work. I may be in the minority from a Wolves fan perspective but I always thought he was overrated. Guess we'll see how the season goes.
