Do you know what iHart got to play for OKC? Do you know how much less we were allowed to offer him? The difference is far more than most people could resist. It was a stacked deck from the beginning. Letting him do what he wants will not be a part of OKC's offense - they are too smart for that. This was a preseason game, so yeah, for a night, he could try anything.
He joined them for the money. Getting to have fun on a great team doesn't hurt, too.

Nothing we really could have done to keep iHart.... Maybe just signed him to a longer contract initially. He was awesome for us too.

bolded it for you. but if they're giving him freedom as well on offense its a total no brainer for him.

tbh im mainly talking about the 7 assists he had. looks like they're running some of the offense through him. we never took full advantage of his passing skillset

I was only trying to show that "looks like okc is letting ihart do whatever he wants and i guess thats why he joined them" is not the reason he joined them. It was the $$. And of course, if you're getting incredibly rich, it's great to do it on one of the best teams.

kind of a wash. hartenstein was solid at defense in the regular season but embiid and myles turner punked him all postseason. at least kat has elite offense to balance that

Does it matter when he’ll be on the bench to end games

his offense doesn’t outweigh his negatives on defense at the 5 tho
