Saw Bucks were doing more media yesterday for video packages and GTJ was in it and looked fine. Unless the video is old and they just put it out yesterday, seems like the elbow is good now.

Pretty sure they do all those on media day

We'll have a prediction thread up next week, should be interesting.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

GM Survey Time.

Bucks predicted to be 5th in the East. Giannis rates highly in all the usual spots, except in Best International Player, where he didn't get a vote somehow.

I gotta take this with a grain of salt because of the player option. Pairing Beal and Holiday always made the most sense but we knew that was going to be a pipe dream. Also makes sense why we turned our attention to a more elite, 1 man offense lead guard like Dame. I think Beal is just being captain obvious here and thank God he didn’t like the way Milwaukee handled the situation because Middleton for Beal would’ve been a God awful trade for us.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

That last question referencing apron rules/trade math being indexed to a team's market was interesting. I don't know if that was just an example as part of the question or something that's actually being talked about implementing, but that concept doesn't seem too good for us.

I absolutely love the low expectations going into the season. LOVE IT.

Beal for Midds. Amazing.

And the crazy part is Beal is hurt just as much as Khris but for 2x the cost.

Beal is a liar. The Bucks couldn't trade a FA for him. He's covering the fact that his wife wouldn't let him go to Milwaukee.

He's overrating himself, and his knowledge of what GMs may have kicked around. Being rumored to be traded for a player who has won a championship is as close as he'll ever get to winning one.

The "we could have traded Midds instead of Jrue" is becoming the new "we could have drafted Dirk". Don't let the facts and cap logistics get in the way of a good narrative.

Middleton signed his deal in July of 2023. There was plenty of time after the Bucks won their title that the two could have been traded for each other.

So as long as he isnt lying....

Biggg exhale

Big

Im not interested in who the most talented or productive bucks are. Im interested in most important.

Trent is 5th behind the other starters. He has the potential to play above average, switchable, point of attack defense while also playing above average offense. He moves the needle for us.

Jimmy for Middleton is the trade that should have been made. I don't see how we have less than 2 chips with that trade, more if everyone is healthy.

2019 Bucks

Lopez
Giannis
Butler
Brogdon
Bledsoe

That's probably one of the best defensive lineups of all time.

...maybe it still could?

Tim MacMahon said on the latest episode of The Hoop Collective podcast: "Maybe Jimmy follows through on what he says, like, 'Hey, contract year, this is a prove-it type of year for me,' and he's all business. No one questions his ability to play the game and impact winning when he's on the floor. But if you talk to people around the league and say, 'Who's the next big-name or star-caliber player who gets traded?' there are at least some eyes on Jimmy Butler."
