If you were guaranteed health next April, who would you rather have between Jimmy and Dame?

Jack Nicholson 1974.

I'd go with Dame, simply because there's no decent pg option on the roster if he departs.

If the Bucks had, I dunno, Tyus Jones on the roster, it becomes a real interesting question.

15 days until the opener. Sounds like GTJ will be good to go but until he actually practices who the hell knows
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

2019 Bucks

Lopez
Giannis
Butler
Brogdon
Bledsoe

That's probably one of the best defensive lineups of all time.

If I +1 this more than once it cancels out my first one.

I was cheerleading this move when the offer was available and the realgm consensus was that Jimmy played too much midrange and didn't spread the floor. But yeah we missed one... the mentality of Butler and Giannis together.. Bud and Jrue would still be here too

If Wright, Prince, and Trent aren't sufficient/healthy enough come February, the defensive upgrade is gonna be when this team finally pulls the trigger on a Bobby trade and embraces the Giannis at Center lineups. It has been and continues to be the most obvious move since the Dame trade happened.

Also from madden

Rivers said there was no MRI needed to check on ligament damage, and he's suspects Trent will play on Thursday, but there is no guarantee.

Bobby's also going to need an extension this offseason after he opts out.

Certainly possible the Bucks (maybe Bobby as well) are just waiting for the right trade to materialize.

Latest on some of the scenarios we've been throwing around:

1. If the Pelicans were quietly making a play for KAT that's off the board now.

2. Warriors could use a center that can shoot whether they keep Kuminga or not.

3. Grizzlies are awfully reliant on a rookie at the 5 and could absorb Portis' salary (and/or Connaughton's) to facilitate a deal. There was also a Marcus Smart for Mitchell Robinson and change rumor the other day.

4. Kings are heavy on wings and could use another big.

And the crazy part is Beal is hurt just as much as Khris but for 2x the cost.

Beal is a liar. The Bucks couldn't trade a FA for him. He's covering the fact that his wife wouldn't let him go to Milwaukee.

Middleton signed his deal in July of 2023. There was plenty of time after the Bucks won their title that the two could have been traded for each other.

There's a no trade period after signing a deal. The Beal deal wasn't going to wait until December 15th.

Middleton and Beal could have been traded for each other between January and February of '23. Beal wasn't moved until the summer of '23.

We're in no position to be trading bigs away at this point.

Brooklyn would be a good target. I really, really want Clowney but would settle for Sharpe or even Watford.

I love the upside of the AJ pick. It's also hard to watch Ryan Dunn be the exact player we need. Suns had a ridiculous draft.

Thank God that Beal didn't agree to that.

Beal has a no trade clause. He couldn't be dealt until he wanted to. He wasn't on the market until the summer.

He had a no trade clause that summer too. Not the point the story. Stop moving the goalposts.

Beal requested a trade in the summer, not during the season, so the goalposts are planted firmly.

Beal was in and out of the lineup with injury throughout January and February of 2023.
