possibly, but Healthy Mitch is not a joke and equal to Murphy in value, and honestly he might be worth much more. The two series we won against Cleveland and Philly he was arguably the second best player in both those series. Meanwhile, Murphy scored 11/7/2 in the playoffs. To put it in perspective, Hart scored 14/12/5 in about as many minutes and Mitch was more important than Hart in that series, because he is very assertive as a center and has shut down centers who people consistently think of as better than him.
Others have said it, but there is no real need to move Mitch besides the fact that I don't see him accepting being a backup Center for long and injury concerns. Murphy for Mitch is them taking advantage of the situation much more than the other way around.
I would love to keep Mitch. As you said we don’t have to move him. I prefer having a real center at the 5 and KAT at the 4, but that is up to the coaches. Maybe he excels at the 5.
Good points. I’m a hoping.
Mitch most definitely has value which is why multiple teams are asking for him even though he's hurt
By the way murphy is hurt too so that makes this interesting
I would do Mitch and 2nds for Herb Jones and then Sims, the WAS 1st, Dadiet, Rokas, Naji, McCullar, a pick swap, and additional 2nds for Kessler. Go all the way in.
KAT, OG, Herb, Bridges, Brunson
Bench: Kessler, Hart, Deuce
Situational: Precious, Shamet, Kolek
Crazy depth, crazy versatility, crazy talent. Killer defense. Killer offense.
