Does anyone know why the knicks are cycling through all these players with exhibit 10s? Has this ever really happened in the past? I remember usually 1 or 2 guys on these deals that end up in the G-league usually but we've had like 4 or 5 of these already? Is this some sort of cap circumvention play?

I hadn't thought of that and I'm not crystal clear how trading exhibit 10s would work, but that's possible I suppose. Not sure how released players get traded, but maybe there's some kind of resign to trade rights, which is how they moved the 3 players to Charlotte in the KAT trade. It was Charlotte, right?

I like Brown for an end of the bench role. Haven't seen him play much but his stats aren't bad. Can he play?

Boo who?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Mo Brown waived now too.

Not eligible for a two-way (been in the league too many years), but he can sign an exhibit 10 or G league no problemo.

I think this is just stashing future trade salary I think. Knicks are collecting bodies who can be signed and traded next off-season.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/knicks-waive-moses-brown-from-camp-deal/ar-AA1s6Yr0?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=e1488991fdae4210a33a4cfadf6716c1&ei=11

Apparently, but signing them to exhibit 10s and waiving them, they can get a bigger bonus playing for Westchester. 75K according to the article. It doesn't match what they'd get if another team offers them a 10 day contract, but outside of that, it's a bit of extra money. Westchester will be a little bit interesting this year. I may have to follow Bad News Barnes posts.
