Rob Dillingham having a tough shooting night and only grabbing 7 points but still getting 9 assists with no turnovers and 4 rebounds in 23 minutes is super encouraging. As is the fact that he didn't press the shot when it wasn't falling.

Watching the Blazers/Clippers game now and Scoot looks like what Bronny would look like if they asked him to handle the ball and pass.

He was so good in the g-league and in the summer league, had people wondering if he should go #1 over Wemby, and he barely looks like an NBA player at times. I'm rooting for him to put it together, he's really talented just doesn't seem to know what he's doing a lot.

His shooting outlook is horrendous, though. That corner 3 he air balled... ouch. Seems to me like a poor man's Ausar TBH.

Fact is, a lot of the Scoot hype was built in his first season with Ignite, when he performed really well at just 17. His second season he didn't show any improvement at all, and by the time the draft came around there were a lot of questions with his game (not the athlete he was advertised as, shooting, finishing, ability to create separation, etc), and his stock was high mainly due to inertia (great games vs Metropolitans) rather than recent performance. He's young and can still be a legit NBA starter, but being honest there isn't much that would make you confident he's got star future in him like many envisioned.

Feels like Pop is playing with Castle. He’s gotta be annoyed that players clearly worse than him appear ahead of him in the rotation.

He should be starting or at least 6th man and it looks like Pop is gonna make he get it out the mud.
