All I care is they over play the bench in the name of development (but actually for the tank lol).

This is a really bad team.

Right now I have no idea who's running back up point. Probably Scottie, but they will have to stagger the lineups.

IQ/Scottie/Shead
Mitchell/Brown/Walter
RJ/Dick/Agbaji
Scottie/Mogbo/Chris
Poeltl/KO

They will start dick at sg over Mitchell and Mitchell will be the back up of. I think Mitchell eventually gets traded and ahead end up back up pg.

Mitchell is clearly the backup. We don’t need to put the best players on the roster in the SL. They’ll probably start with Dick and platoon Brown/Agbaji there if he doesn’t stick.

We actually have a pretty good starting lineup. The bench is all projects but I think that’s a good thing. My ideal season is the SL winning its minutes but the bench losing us games with extended runs. We have a good shot at getting that with our current roster.

The issue I see with Mitchell is he’s more a 3+D pg. I don’t really trust him to actually run the offense. Basically if one of Barnes or IQ is out for a game who is actually capable of holding down the fort when one of those guys isn’t on the floor? I could see our non-Barnes/IQ lineups being really bad offensively.

If Boucher keeps up his summer league performance, does Darko let him start? Try to pump up his trade value.

Neither Barnes nor Boucher can guard SF, and neithe Quckley nor Barrett can guard quick PG. This is the reason we had Agbaji, even giving up spacing, size and rebounding.

I'm most intrigued by how big of a leap Gradey can have.

I would start him. He's the best raptor by far after the top 4...

Vs some teams...it would make sense. He can still be a 3pt option on offense and cuts to basket which Barnes and Yak like.

But against teams with a smaller fast PG we might be better off putting Mitchell, Brown or Ochai on them.

That 4th spot really should be an open rotation spot based on our opponent and their strengths.

4 starters BBQ + JP

A fair bit of depth if you had more starting level of talent. Currently a lot are hurt.

Need to develop and show real value positive or negative 5-6 players. We need to play and develop while enhancing our draft process. We would be wise to not “rebuild” before turning towards just building up.
2025 draft if we get a top 4 pick maybe take best PA. If above that take need with close ratings too a guard you maybe passing on.
We also need to swap a picked player + 2nd round pick for Indy for the 2026 first return to pacers to enhance their future pick flexibility. Need to try and add 2 future starters 1 C that can develop into a JP replacement over time and 1 OG lite wing bigger D & 3 SF a genuine SF.

Trash ass roster, but we doing a proper rebuild through. Look at Minny or OKC they built from the ground up we should do that too.

Roster just is not good overall....One player goes down from the starting lineup and that basically puts a coffin in the season....The Hornets will be better than us, Bulls will be better than us as well....Both teams just have deeper teams and more high quality NBA level players on their teams overall....

I predict the east looking like this
Celtics
Bucks
Knicks
76ers
Pacers
Cavs
Heat
Magic

Hawks
Hornets
Bulls

Raptors
Pistons
Nets
Wizards

Which puts us in the mix for that top 5 spot cause i think in the West only the Blazers will be worse than us...If we have any major injuries though we might even sneak into that top 3-4. If we trade Yak + Brown at the deadline....We are getting a top 5 pick 100 percent.
