For a 6th-striing center, it's perfectly fine. I hope D'Nitro sticks around in Maine this year.

Because it's jst preseason, doesn't count.

They had a game last night

Perhaps also didn't want to show any of their stuff, tip their hand to a conference rival.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I think it's because they're mostly made of balsa wood, and they knew they'd lose by a lot anyway.

Yeah those were a couple of rough passes.

He had some nice moments in Abu Dhabi but certainly looked like a G leaguer tonight.

While the starters are limbering up...

Hauser has expanded his game and looks fantastic, better than ever. Tillman, Pritchard and Kornet all look very sharp.

Lower down on the bench- way to go Walsh; what a bounce back from the summer. Lonnie Walker can pass. That 15th spot might get filled.

I’m going to continue to say I was hella wrong on Korny and POBO was as right as, well, POBO. Brad is so damned good at this!! I hope he keeps rolling, because the other players love him! I love him too!!!

I think Joe is doing a platoon on the back to back, going with a big defensive minded wing (walsh) + smaller offensive minded wing (walker) tonight and then tomorrow night it'll be a big offensive minded wing (Peterson) + smaller defensive minded wing (Springer)

Makes sense to have good balance like that..

Nah, looked REALLY bad on those 2 passes but he wasn’t bad his entire stint.

Hard work paying off for everybody.

These guys are true professionals.

You can really see the improvement from each player.

It's either they got comfortable with the system or they worked on their game.

For any fools that decided to miss this game.. My thoughts..

Kornet and Tillman were awesome. Kornet just keeps moving to the right places as defenders literally lose him when focused on the other starters. and at 7'2 makes easy finishes. But his quick passes (not a surprise) really allows the other starters (especially the Jays) to get their game flowing. I can't say that enough.

X Tillman , just like a younger Al Horford, is picking his spots and knocking down his 3s and looking quite comfortable and confident in doing it. Still switchable on defense which in time , I believe, will allow him to play with KP or Al easily.

Hauser looks so damn good right now I am afraid to jinx it. Shooting dribble and defense and Confidence seem at all time high! preseason games or not..

PP - Best damn 3rd PG in the NBA bar none! PP and Hauser look like a perfect match right now. OH and did someone say "SPACING" I sure did...
EDIT - not sure how many 2nd unit PGs are better as well.

Jordan Walsh has been reborn. Back from the dead ( OK he wasn't dead) but DAMN.. From last year to the SL to now, he looks like the MIP 20 year old ever! He seemingly has not even attempted an ill-advised shot IIRC, and is shooting all 3s in a very calm matter.

L Walker - looks far more comfortable with the rotation guys. will never be great but can play his role at a good level IMO.

Baylor Scheierman - showed a little promise. Made two 3 pointers.. The jury is still out if he will be a good 30th pick or not.

Queta was OK overall. But looks like Luke and X-man will beat him out.

No Springer and no Peterson.. Should play a lot tomorrow.

JD, like Shak and I have said, really needs to be on another team. Impossible to get his "groove going" on this ridiculous deep roster.

Tomorrow is a must watch game... for me at least... remember I am an addict!

Yeah, they were. Crashing offensive boards. Brown seemed like he was trying overly hard to bully.

What’s funny is Kornet is like the only guy that doesn’t shoot 3’s on our team yet he’s actually not a bad shooter lol

Man, but how many times have I said a center doesn't have to be good at shooting 3s. Vertical spacing can lead to many good opportunities as well as offensive rebound/put backs. Not saying 3s are bad for a center. But just be good at whatever you do... and in Luke's case, rolling to the rim at the right time is his bread and butter. If Luke is planted on the 3 point line, he won't be getting his baskets/rebounds anywhere near close to what he is..

Tillman looks really good shooting the 3 and he has been disruptive on defense. Kornet has played great with starters. Of course when the real games begin the big men are going to struggle. Hopefully the fire power this team has and the championship confidence carries them until Al rounds into shape and KP is ready to go.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I certainly wouldn't expect them to be as good when the "real games" begin. But saying they will struggle feels so wrong.

Korny didn’t struggle when the real games happened last season. X didn’t play enough but I don’t expect he’ll struggle either. We are lucky to have them and I hope they showout all season!
