No. He's just lying. He was talking to Thibs.
Unless I'm blind, I don't even see Thibs on the bench during those free throws.
Thibs was sitting down on the bench.

I guess it was tough to tell but that burly guy was the conditioning coach, someone that a player who works really hard on their body would spend alot of time with. It looked pretty good natured to me but I am not a conspiracy kook like the rest of you.

Does it matter who it was directed at. Papa Brunson came at him hot. As an the older man in the situation and knowing this is one of your kids friends who got shipped from a dream job he should have been the mature one.
Maybe Papa Brunson think "If we let Divo talk smack in preseason this sets a precedent for thinking we're weak so let's cut the soft allegations at the root and overreact here and now". Papa Brunson playing chess while Papa Guan0 playing checkers?

Except we don't know what was said there. Donte was running his mouth from the free throw line. We know what he said. Then in the exchange with Pops he said he was talking to Thibs at one point. Not sure what the rest of the exchange was that has you blaming him and excusing Donte.

My take is this trade closed the Wolves' championship window and the team will implode either this year or next.

Re: PG: KNICKS slay The Wolves
OG looked good, ready to do his thing
And Mikal started to loosen up and show more of his game
Why Sims is here remains a mystery
KAT with some nice boards, looked "hard"
Brunson low key being Brunson, not going all out yet
Deuce defensing, good plays, some misses, but good overall
Cam's best game so far, steadier with the ball, better shot selection

If an assistant coaches provides the toughness we are fcked.

I'm spending entirely too much time on this. I just don't get why he'd throw his best friend's father under the bus in favor of Thibs.

He was like, smack a laptop now muffagah. See what happens. They probably had to take so much sh*t when he was on the team. Couldn’t wait to pull his card

He was definitely talking to Thibs when he said, "Thanks for the trade, Thibs." because in the video you clearly see his head turn more towards the score's table where Thibs usually stands throughout the game, then it seems like Rick Brunson wasn't with the sarcasm, then Donte turned more towards the bench.

Me either. I also don't know why he is lying when we all heard what he had to say. I also don't know why people are going out of their way to excuse him or believe him either. He is clearly lying.
Whatever. Fuq him Randle and the Wolves.

Rick Brunson should have been more mature he's the elder in that situation.
You know DiVincenzo is young and hurt and in his feelings he shouldn't have came at Divo like that especially when Rick Brunson knows Divo well him and Jalen Brunson are best friends.
