In the actual video of Divo jawwing at the bench you can see Thibs standing in his usual spot at the sideline hashmark not on the bench...the comment 'letting you run things now' kind of gave away who he was chirping at.

Then to say he was yelling at Thibs after the game? Hmm, video evidence shows otherwise. If there's someone he going to have a problem with getting shipped away from his Nova friends it's Rose, that's who traded him.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I'm spending entirely too much time on this. I just don't get why he'd throw his best friend's father under the bus in favor of Thibs.

Rick Brunson should have been more mature he's the elder in that situation.

You know DiVincenzo is young and hurt and in his feelings he shouldn't have came at Divo like that especially when Rick Brunson knows Divo well him and Jalen Brunson are best friends.

Rick wasn't going to let someone disrespect the person that he has known since his playing days, and has always given him a job whenever he has been a head coach.

Donte was passionate about being a part of this team. Another sign we're back that guys are this torn up about leaving.

So it's better to make a big scene than let it be trash talk left on the court?

Last thing, I get it. Donte feelings are valid, I’m hurt too. I really wanted him here. But I don’t like all the extra drama tonight.

It was just an elder putting him in his place.

My take is this trade closed the Wolves' championship window and the team will implode either this year or next.

I think they're gonna try and play Donte a lot at PG this year, that's really the only way you can have Randle on the floor a lot with Gobert, either that or they'll do a lot of Randle/Naz, but Jokic will eat that up.

Why would Donte say this is what happens when they let you run things to Rick though? Rick isn't running shyt? This makes zero sense now.

Probably something going on behind closed doors. No reason to throw your best friend's father under the bus instead of Thibs.

Jalen Bluntson wrote:The end of that game just ruined the vibe from the win. I don't know what happened to cause that rift but, Donte clearly isn't happy about the trade. Seemed like one of the staff had beef with Randle too. Just an ugly divorce going on here.

It sucks because DDV was a big part of the fun and good vibes last year. Part of the grit and grind makeup we had. Shart really detonated all of that by taking the bag from OKC? I hope he fails miserably over there and I hope Donte has a shyt season/career after this.

I think Hartenstein messed up by going to OKC, because if you look at it the Knicks were going to give him the full amount ($72.5M) they could give him. His contract with OKC ($87M) is only guaranteed for 2 years, and the 3rd year is a team option.

I've been saying for months that guarantee 4 years is better than guarantee 2. Him accepting that offer told me he didn't really want to be here long term. Which is fine, do what you will, but sugar coating it -- in hindsight -- pisses me off.
Wait wtf I did not know his 3rd year was not guaranteed!!?!?!?!?
