You do realize he praised and showed appreciation to the fans when he was interviewed leading up to this game.

A lot of you guys wanna make a bigger deal out of nothing.

There’s legit beef with Thibs

Why Sims is here remains a mystery

KAT with some nice boards, looked "hard"

Brunson low key being Brunson, not going all out yet

Deuce defensing, good plays, some misses, but good overall

Cam's best game so far, steadier with the ball, better shot selection

Kolek with the DNP. WTF!?!!!

That happens in preseason when you are trying to evaluate other guys to see who will make the roster.

Wouldn’t be the first or last player to feel salty after being traded. knicks don’t trade for Kat unless Thibs gives his blessing. Again, **** like this happens all the time in sports.

I don’t blame Donte one bit. I will be rooting for him, in the same way I will be rooting for IQ and iHart. Just not when they play against us.

You came at me because I said he can get out of here with his attitude? Talk about soft. Sheesh.

Again, you are soft AF and butt hurt over a player showing emotion and trash talking.

I’m just amused at fans like you atm.

Knicks got 34 steals in 3 preseason games. For context we were 20th last year at 7.2. OKC lead the league with 8.4 per.

That’s what happens when you have 3 pesky and above average defensive wings playing the passing lanes.

When Mitch comes back, they can run different defensive schemes depending on matchup come playoff time.

Anyone else remember Sprewell yelling at Dolan after we traded him to the Wolves?

Of course, that was after a terrible move.

Divi is a herb for that exchange with Thibs. Tom revitalized this dudes’ career.

what

donte put up the shots not thibs. it took thibs 20 games to realize donte is better than grimes and have him start and it took him 40 games to make sure donte gets 25+ mins a game consistently. if donte was starting from day 1 and getting real minutes he could've very well led the league in 3's made

he was excited to team with his college teammates and thibs shipped him and randle off for KAT. he has every right to talk his ish
NiceLikeChrist wrote:We are going to deeply regret this. We traded away the best player in the trade and still had to give up a great role player AND a pick?

so many people are going to eat their words about randle

Donte comes off weak to me. Everybody loves trash talk between players, but your homie’s father? That’s some serious disrespect.

Kinda fake too going at Thibs now when you had his back last season when other players said they didn’t wanna play for him.

If you feel so strong about this, don’t duck the media when they ask you. Just man up..

ESPN got the audio. I mean Rick Brunson went up to him after the game and said that was "some sucka sh*t man".

I feel like Donte was trying to artificially start drama for whatever reason.

It clearly wasn't "friendly banter". Rick is a professional, he clearly thought Donte was out of line.

Donte told the media that he wasn’t talking to Thibs at the free throw line… and that adds up because Thibs was further back. He was talking to Rick. Who else in that area fits the bill about running the show (his son is the star, the GM is his boy/first client, and he’s the coaches assistant from back in the day).

But then he went and told Rick that he was talking about Thibs and then says he’d like to hit a game winner over Thibs. Like this guy is on some shyt…
