I thought Grayson was out for personal reasons....Achilles is concerning esp given the extra weight he's added during the offseason

I had this premonition that Ryan Dunn would be an all-star caliber player, and I hope I am right.

Dunn has been seriously impressive these offseason

I hope and pray to the basketball gods it extends into the regular season, and beyond

Ryan Dunn kinda gives me Scottie Pippen vibes on defense...With a modern "3 & D" twist.

Maybe he's on an Okogie streak in pre season but at least that's the minimum

Can he add a dribble drive so defenders can't just rush him?

Oso sorta reminds me of Boris Diaw with his ability to facilitate.I feel at ease when the ball is in his hands.Collin Gillespie, also. Both play smart & under control.

Absolutely love Gillespie's court vision, passing ability and decision making

First note from this game: Dunn scored 20 points with 6 three pointers! And so many more things to love about this particular game.

First game at home for the Nuggets. They play their starting five + Westbrook, Saric...and we decided to rest all our starting five + Allen and Okogie. That was a nice move because we showed how crazy deep we are and gave confidence to all our bench players. But that confidence was well earned, the guys played with heart and awareness.

I love what I saw from Monte Morris and Gillespie. Well rounded PGs.

Royce O'Neale is in mid-season form, he played a great game.

And the player of the game was Dunn. Oh my...what a two-way player we got at #28.

Soooo, excuse my ignorance, but whats up with Dunn's shot? Looking at preseason highlights it doesn't look bad, and it goes in a decent clip from 3. I know he is a bit on a hot streak probably, but howcome the horrible %s on FTs and 3 pointers in the NCAA?

Your guess is as good as anyones. Confidence is a small part of it. But we're talking about a guy who a few months ago was airballing consecutive floaters during a casual-paced shootaround. This type of turnaround, if real (and I think we still need to be cautious), is a very, very, very rare occurrence.

When I thought Dunn will surprise with his shooting I expected something like 33%, which is considerably better than what he showed in college and SL. Despite good shooting in offseason highlights didn't expect what we see at the moment. Had he shot at 30% in college he probably ends a lottery pick right.

3s, 3s and more 3s. Only the Cs Mason and Oso didn't shoot one in this game.

Thinking twice about this game, I think we matchup pretty well against the Nuggets.

We already know about Nurkic against Jokic, he knows how to play him on both sides.

Jamal Murray is their X factor and he is out of shape and on a shooting slump...yeah, it's the preseason but if you add his terrible play for Canada in the Olympics might be a serious problem.

And Ryan Dunn seems perfect as his primary defender because he can bother his shot with his length and lateral quickness.

The Nuggets lost KCP too and I think that was a HUGE loss on a short roster. I can't envision Westbrook playing very well for them and his lack of shooting will be a negative for sure.

I cannot recall a single player in the last 20 years that went from being unable to shoot (12 3's in 65 games) to being a legitimate threat over 1 summer. Insane improvement from this kid and yeah, if anyone suspected he'd improve this much, I think he is a lottery pick without question in this draft.

I think the guy just had to show some promise shooting the 3 in college to stay in the lottery but he wasn't able to do that. Like maybe a few games where he shoots 4 for 7 or something with his decent shooting form, he probably would've been looked at a lot more positively. He never took more than 4 threes in college and never made more than 2 while averaging less than 1 attempt a game.

But hey, it's good to see he's making 3's now and if he continues you to take and hit 3's at even a "guard me" level, we're going to be good
